I recently had the opportunity to visit Homestead while looking for a place that my grandma could call home. The community was clean and friendly, with a warm and welcoming vibe. The people who lived there looked well cared for and happy. A lady named Mary showed me around and she was very professional in a comfortable and non-pushy way. My grandma passed away before she could move in, but it was a wonderful visit nonetheless.

Love the workers in memory care. Andrea and Frank are so good with the patients. I am sure other shifts are good as well. The new staff is so helpful! All the workers that I have had experience with are super friendly. That means a lot to my family!

In the past few weeks I have seen wonderful improvements in the quality of my father's life at Homestead. He's enjoying the activities and the family nights that they host. He's so cared for and not living alone but with a great community of people.

Our Dad lived at Timberwood in Del City, OK, for the last 18 months of his life. Over that time we had the good fortune to become well acquainted with the wonderful staff and residents there.Daddy could not have gotten better care unless he had been in one of our homes ~ which he chose not to do.I dont know what might have been going on when the person who wrote the scathing review of Timberwood, but there must have been extenuating circumstances at the time. We never saw anything that was remotely close to what he, she observed. I was present many many times weekly, always unannounced and at totally random times. I observed nothing but caregivers being kind, caring, attentive and professional. The environment was always clean and inviting.

I visited 6 facilities before deciding to move my folks to Timberwood. It was the best decision I ever made. I have found the entire staff to be conscientious and caring professionals. The facility is affordable and the meals are well balanced and tasty. From almost the first moment I met the manager of the facility, I felt that dad and mother would be in very compitent hands. I give my highest recommendation.

Placing a loved one in a facility is one of the hardest things Ive ever done. I had lots of questions and concerns. I visited the facility multiple times with and without my aunt, unannounced and announced. Ty went above and beyond in answering my questions, showing me options and welcoming my aunt to the community once a decision was made. The staff seems friendly and were responsive to any, all questions.

I was looking for a place for my aunt and was told to check into this facility!! I called and have been dealing with an employee named Ty. The only way I can describe our experience so far is OUTSTANDING!! The facility is beautiful and it atmosphere feels like senior living, not a nursing home!! Ty has made us feel welcome and has proved in more ways than one how much they like people and are in it for the residents and their family members!! I am more than excited to get my aunt moved in and getting to know all the staff better!! KUDOS to you Ty!! You are amazing!!!

Our mother has resided at this facility for over 5 years. I would honestly recommend Timberwood to any family that really wants quality care for their precious loved ones. It is consistently improving with each passing year... We fell in love with this assisted living center even before we made the awesome placement decision for our mother. Our churchs women ministry needed someone to deliver a Christmas Basket there to one of our senior members. My sister and I volunteered and I now know that it was all is Gods plan...Not too many months later, our mother had to leave her home. We didnt have to search.... We already knew.. Congratulations to the administrator, Michael Brown and his excellent staff!

This place is awesome! From Michael Brown to Ty to the lovely ladies who look after my Dad in the memory care unit. These people genuinely care for the residents there and their families. It is very clean, warm and inviting. The food is good and the activities are great. I went to my first family night in November. It was wonderful. Everyone was relaxed, smiling and having a good time. I cant wait to go again! Yesterday they had a musical group and I danced with one a gentleman and Dad dance with one of the ladies. It was wonderful!

I agree...my Dad has been there since April 2015 and he is doing well and seems to be happy. However, its near impossible to reach the Administrator. I live out of state and I have to rely on email and voice mail. But I never get a reply.

Most of the staff is exceedingly nice but I was very annoyed at the fact that the administrator is so unapproachable. I go to this facility very often and every single time the administrator is in her office with the door closed and sometimes even with the blinds closed. I have witnessed employees try to go in her office to talk to her and for the most part they are not allowed to go in the office. It seems to me from the times I have witnessed that only the managers are allowed to go into her office and sit and talk with her. She is in-personable and makes herself very unavailable. What I take away from that is if she is that way with her own staff then I quit sure she is just as un-involved with the wonderful residents residing there. I realize that power can go to a persons head but that needs to be avoided in a living facility. Every single staff member and resident is just as important and valuable as the administrator is. I am very upset about this matter and will make sure I put this review out as many times as I can until something changes.
