My wife recently lived at FountainBrook after the April 19, 2023, Shawnee tornado damaged the facility she was in. Due to structural damage and loss of all utilities, immediate relocation was required. Upon learning of the situation, the FountainBrook staff found space for my wife and another displaced resident. Within a matter of hours, FountainBrook provided rooms, transportation, and personalized care support to get them moved in and settled in the Memory Support unit. The care received was outstanding. The nurses are caring and efficient. The staff quickly learned their needs and helped them adjust to the abrupt change in surroundings. I think it is particularly noteworthy that they accommodated us the way they did even though it was only a temporary move in. I highly recommend FountainBrook Assisted Living and Memory Support. If there were more stars available to give in this review, I would.

I worked there as a CNA for a few months and really enjoyed it, however some of the other CNAs arent that great. Not that Im trying to call anyone out, but Ive had residents complain to me specifically by their name. The facility is really great but the higher staff such as the DON and the administrator dont do a very good job of taking care of the nurses. For example, we had a resident that took three of us to lift (which it should only take two) we nearly broke our backs and our director did nothing about our complaints. Another thing is that I was grabbed by a residents family member (which theyre not allowed to touch you), my administrator asked me if I told the director and I did, but she did nothing about it. Finally, the director never responds to anything whether its in the group chat or texting. She doesnt even answer phone calls. Honestly, its the nurses who keep this place together. All I can say is that if youre thinking about applying here, youre destine to depend on no one but yourself.

Im a resident here at Fountain Brook Assisted Living and have been for several months and highly recommend this place to any one needing assistance. They are so helpful and friendly to anyone who comes through their doors. The food is wonderful and no complaints about anything that needs to be done. They have daily activities that are enjoyable. I highly recommend Fountain Brook to any adult looking for a place to move their loved ones. Their 24 hour services are wonderful! They share their love and care about any need you may encounter. Theyre always there if you have a need or a problem. They are friendly and courteous to everyone who walks through their doors! They care about any need that you may encounter! I highly recommend Fountain Brook to anyone who needs any kind of assisted living. You would love the whole staff and atmosphere.

I, and my whole family, am grateful for Fountainbrook and their incredible staff. They made it possible for my parents to stay together when Mom broke her hip. They give excellent care. They have wonderful food. But I am most appreciative of they genuine affection and attention the entire staff shows to all the residents. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone needing any level of independent or assisted living.

I love this place. Ive worked assisted living in the past and visited my fair share. This is one of those places your thankful exist. I love the employees and the leadership. They are no nonsense when it comes to caring for the residents in whatever their role is. I love the way they communicate and desire communication between supporting staff that visit the building, such as home health which is the capacity in which I came to know the staff so well. I really cannot say enough from the creative ways the staff comes together for fun events and outings (everyone participates) to the behind the scenes individualized nursing care. They think outside the box, theyre a team. Foubtainbrook is at the top of my list. It has a clean friendly atmosphere, and staff with integrity.5 stars

Last year I decided to make a change in my nursing career and started working at Fountain Brook. It has been the most rewarding job that I have had! The whole staff always put our residents first and strive to provide the best care possible that they deserve! From housekeeping to upper management everyone is a team player! Amanda Poling is one of the best DON, Managers Ive worked for and has been a great mentor to me. She truly cares for her team and residents. It truly is a great place to work!

I am a hospice nurse and have been visiting residents at Fountainbrook 2-3 times a week for the past 3 1, 2 years. This facility is awesome! The staff there are wonderful, very warm and welcoming. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about each of their residents. They love and take care of your loved ones just like their own family. Many activities are planned for both the assisted living and memory care every day. You can rest assured that they will be given the best care possible.

I helped manage FoutainBrook for a little over 2 years, including 8 months as the Executive Director, ending in February 2016, as Oxford Senior Living took over the management. During that time I had the privilege to get to know the staff very well. The caring culture at FountainBrook begins at the top and shows throughout the community. These are some of the best folks I have ever worked with and they truly care for their residents.
