I want to start by saying I am a former employee of Blue Ridge and this is the number one place of employment on my list for absolutely EVERYTHING. I would have never left if it wasnt for me going through rough times in my life such as my car breaking down leaving with me to depend on others for transportation. Even still one of my coworkers who was also like a supervisor to me even reached out and got me a transfer to somewhere closer. This place felt like home. Not only does the staff here care about its residents very deeply, they care about their employees well being as well. Most people wont make you feel welcomed and comfortable at a place youve worked but this was home. My coworkers were my family. This place was filled with love and care. I can go on and on. If I had my cna license, Id definitely be here. I know that when times are hard they are understanding, if you have kids they are understanding. The residents here are even more amazing. You get so attached and to go into work and for residents to be happy to see you is just heart warming. I want to say great change to the cnas here, they are great at their job and it shows because the residents are always happy and smiling. This is a great place for your family members as well as a great place to be employed. I wish I could give it 10 stars because some of the people Ive met here are forever family.

This review is for Nita at Blue Ridge. Nita is incredible! The encouragement and care she give to the residents is amazing. Recently, she was able to encourage our mother to get up and out of bed and move a round a little after weeks of her not wanting to get out of bed. Nita is a miracle worker.

The staff is so caring. From the first day we stopped in ti see the place, we were included in their family. Mom likes living here. Thank you for all you do. Family Christmas dinner was fantastic!

If you ever have the need for one of these places, you can concentrate on the emotional aspects of this transition, and not need to worry about how well the staff will care for your loved ones! I wouldnt think twice about this center if I ever have the need for it in the future. Even if you dont choose this place for whatever reason, make sure that the place you do choose is on par with the services here.

I can personally praise this institution to the highest extent!! I have watched their personnel in action while visiting with my wife who is a resident there and found them to be very considerate of the folks residing there. I have also found them to be very diligent in delivering medications and in providing that "extra touch: that goes beyond the "I've got a job to do" attitude. All questions have been answered in a timely and professional manner and I am more than satisfied with the care my wife is receiving while a resident of this community!

The staff is truly amazing at this facility. Jamie is hands down amazing at her job and will make you feel like family from the get go. Do yourself a favor and don't bother wasting time looking other places. THEY ARE GLORIOUS!!!!!!

The staff at Blue Ridge has taken excellent care of my mother! They love her, and each have a bond with her that shows. The food the last few months has been great, and her appetite has increased. In the beginning there was a bit of an adjustment, but the staff was available whenever I needed them and helped in any way they could. The management team is approachable and handle any concerns I have effectively and in a timely manner. My mom calls Blue Ridge home and feels as if she is apart of a family.

I am very discouraged by the management at Blue Ridge Place. It feels strained, understaffed and at time kaotic. I leave messages and get no return call. They do not do what they say they are going to do like meetings with staff. Seem to be disorganized. I am ofter treated rudely as if Im bothering them. Nutrition has been very poor in the past but is getting better now.
