My father received great care from the team at Home Care Assistance. I know from experience that it is hard to care for someone who stuggles with accepting help and is trying to continue to be independent. It was nice to know that someone was there when I couldnt be even when my dad could be difficult. Dementia is a disease that changes people. Thank-you to your compaissionate team.

If you are reading this, then look no further. After 8 years in caring for my Mom who had multiple strokes, and seeing how she was treated in six of the local nursing facilities, I knew it was time to bring Mom home for her final days. Knowing my father and I couldnt handle it alone, I reached out to Scott and knew immediately by his warm and caring demeanor that we had found a fit. He, Stevie, and their team of caregivers would help us with Mom during her final months. The caregivers were gentle, kind, and loving which is what my mother never received in the nursing facilities and why she smiled when they would walk in the door every evening at 5pm. Not only did they assist with her personal and physical needs, but theyd talk about her life and the things she loved, and sometimes even warm up three different meals just so she could have two bites to eat, and Id hear them sometimes sing to her! They would listen to my dads stories and talked with him as he was so lonely as my mother declined. This group is honest and caring, individuals who truly want to bring happiness and comfort to those they care for. I highly highly recommend them. May God bless them all for the work they do each and every day to help others!

This is a group of angels and if you are looking for the BEST care for your loved ones, I would call Scott in a heartbeat - absolutely no hesitation! My brother had brain cancer and needed 24-7 care toward the end. Scott and his associates went above and beyond to an extent I have never seen before. I was referred to Home Care Assistance of Solon in June, 2014, when we needed someone immediately to take care of my then 96 year old Father, who had just got out of a nursing home and had many needs. I met Scott and Erica, our Home Health Worker, and things went much better than I expected. My Father did not want a caretaker, but he quickly warmed to Erica, and things went well for two years until my Father passed in March, 2016.There were a few problems with some of the substitutes for Erica, but I could always talk to Scott about it, and he would rectify the situation. Scott also would visit my Father often, talk to him and bring him gifts. They were very supportive as a team, and we honestly would not have been able to keep Daddy home, if it were not for their excellent service. My Sister and I are eternally grateful to them for helping us out at a difficult time in our lives. They were very supportive during the two years and also after my Father passed.I would wholeheartedly recommend their service for someone needing personal Home Health Care.

Home Care Assistance has allowed my 87 year old mother to stay in her apartment for 6 wonderful months. Due to mobility issues, it has been very hard for Mom. Home Care Assistance has proved the Care she needed to remain as independent as possible.Reliability and compassion are words I would use to describe Home Care. Our caregiver has never missed a scheduled day, which is rare in this field. I cant say enough good things about Home Care Assistance of Solon. I brought my mom home for 24-7 care because the hospital-rehab system was exceedingly annoying, inefficient and dangerous.In a perfect world, when you ring the buzzer at the hospital or rehab center, someone would come and give you the assistance you needed in a timely manner.
