My mother is in the basement. I don't like that. She's use to big windows watching deer, raccoons, birds, etc. Caregivers are very nice. I get runaround sometimes trying to talk to my mom.

My mom has been living at the Lantern for the last seven years. She moved in with a mild stage diagnosis of Dementia. The staff have been very attentive to her care and needs. They treat us with utmost respect and love. They are always there for me and my family, supporting us through the disease process. My mother has blossomed and is continuing to thrive. The community is clean and well maintained. We couldn't be happier. I strongly recommend this community.

Moving my mom into The Lantern just about 10 months, under some exceptionally awful conditions at her past home. We had visited 12 or more communities and when we left The Lantern after the tour, we realized that this was the community we needed our mom to be. Everybody had been so exceptionally accommodating from the get-go while Mom adjusted to the new climate. I would highly recommend The Lantern. I genuinely accept that this is her permanent spot to settle down!

Lantern of Madison assisted living facility is a welcoming, family-like environment. The base staff has been there for a long time, resulting in a caring and professional atmosphere. The management and nursing staff are very involved in the care of the residents and are always looking out for the best interests of the residents.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that the needs of my grandmothers are met, as well as the rest of the familys expectations. The management staff is friendly and will always take their time to help if they can. Excellent service!

This is a wonderful facility; clean, secured and a safe environment, daily programs, special outings and shopping, caring staff and delicious and nutritious meals and snacks. This facility provides for your loved one safely and happily! Ive been known to this facility for many years; my aunt, mother in law and most recently, my own mom, resided here. I would highly recommend this facility for a safe and secure facility that treats the residents with love and compassion. The residents seem happy and content as well; they encourage and welcome family involvement.

I love working here! I LOVE OUR CLIENTS! I have been here for 5 years. I have been in kitchen, housekeeping and now Im in laundry. Everyone here from management to nursing to caregiving to maintenance and housekeeping are all so good to work with. We all work together as a team to make sure our clients are well taken care off. I couldnt ask for a better company to work for!

Its a very nice Assisted Living arrangement for the elderly who have dementia or Alzheimers. The case workers and the staff show a lot of concern for their patients. And for the family who is concerned with their member.

We were here today for the Holiday Mingle and Jingle . It was a very nice day and they gave us a tour of the accommodations... not that Rebecca or I are looking but having a good Mama whom suffered from Alzheimer's I was excited to see new and innovative places that allow these wonderful people to have a comforting place to enjoy their lives. I do not even live in this state but I seen a article on Facebook about this place and decided to google it! Just by the virtual tour I can tell this is a lovely place!!! What a wonderful idea! Only bad thing is that I didn't think of it myself!!! Wish more facilities were the same as this great place!!!

I love the care my mom, Clara, gets at the Lantern. She loves it there and is very comfortable and well taken care of. The nurses are wonderful especially the Director of Nursing, Jessica. My mom has made friends and has her freedom back safely Thank you and love to the staff, including Char, Shannon, Jordan, Heather, Anne, Rose, Natalie, Josie, Joyce, Kaitlyn, Chris, Brittany, HoneyBee and so many more. I had the chance to work here and I loved it. I got out of bed everyday wanting to go to work. The residents are wonderful and when you walk through the door it was like home away from home.

I am so impressed by your facility and your mission. My mother and maternal aunt had alzheimers and I was diagnosed with early onset dementia at the age of 48. I am bleessed with awesome support from family and friends at present, I can only hope to have access to a caring facility such as yours when the time comes.

Mom was scheduled to move in today. She arrived yesterday unexpectedly after a few days at the hospital. I can't thank everyone enough for the help and support. All made us feel welcome and I am confident she will get the care she needs. THANK-YOU for making our transition smooth. Mom is not thankful now..but she is safe and we have much needed piece of mind.
