First on behalf of American House I would like to say Thank you for all the positive reviews and I also would like to apologize to everyone who have experience negative, We’re now under new management and we’re listening to everyone. We have new management, new staff, new Activity Director, a Housekeeping team that keeps rooms clean and a 24hr maintenance, We have new activities that include families to join also we provide free hair services for families that can’t afford the Salon, We also have church services no matter what your religion. We can’t change the past but we can work harder to make not only our residents happy and comfortable in their home but their family comfortable with leaving them in our hands. When you become a resident it makes you family and we love you

I had the pleasure of touring today, meeting some of the staff, and sampling some of the chef's creations. Beautiful building with spacious apartments and delicious food! All of the staff was welcoming and friendly! I recommend that you take the time to tour!

This is a very CLEAN PLACE! As with all facilities, management has their hands full! I think with the right staff and nursing assistants who genuinely CARE about delivering quality care to residents, this place will be amazing!!! So far as an agency worker, I LOVE IT! And finally, this place does NOT smell! Yes, housekeeping can step up a little, but it looks very clean for the MOST PART! If you’re looking for “perfect” care for your loved one, you’re not going to find it unless you’re taking care of them at home! Rome wasn’t built overnight!

I would give the American House in Macedonia a Five Star rating. The kindness and caring shown to my Mom from all the staff was amazing. From the first moment we walked in the door and met Amy Zorn,director we knew this was my Moms new home.Amy was so kind and showed us such compassion.She helped us through every step of the way of making my Moms transition to her new home a happy and comfortable one. Amy knows how to take care of your elderly parents and treated my Mom with the utmost caring and kindness. She made sure that Moms move to American House went smoothly and alerted all staff of my Moms care needs.The nurses were awesome and took wonderful care of my Mom as well. American House fared better than many during the Covid pandemic. Although lockdowns were no fun, I thought American House management always had the health and safety of the residents at the top of their minds. Now that everyone is vaccinated and they are opening back up, things are much better . . .an improved menu, group activities, etc. Staff is very responsive to emails from family members. We are looking forward to complete normalcy - - with visits anytime and outings for residents on the bus - - in the near future!

Im a caregiver that was there taking care of two wonderful couple there from a different agency, that I will miss deeply. But this place especially the east side memory unit and housekeeper treat me like family . The all staff in generally. Thank you so much for treating the Munozs and me like family. I will recommended this place to anybody.

Im really sorry to hear you took your mom from the community before I could show you that housekeeping isnt horrible. I wish you nothing but the best of luck, and my apologies for any mishap that you had with housekeeping.

My mother is living at Vista Springs and I am absolutely thrilled with the services that they provide. She feels safe and very much a part of the community. The staff is simply amazing. They go out of their way to accommodate their community members and their families.

2 year old community, beautiful. Well thought out layout, very nice common areas. Every staff member greeted us, introduced themselves and explained their job. Residents greeted us, looked happy with their surroundings. Apartments very attractive. Pricing all inclusive. Only additional charges for Beauty Salon and some outside activities. Definitely considering this choice.

I have a family member at this facility and it is a great place! The facility itself is very attractive with wide hallways, a big fireplace in the entryway and lots of cozy places to sit and relax. But, the best thing about Vista are the people. The staff is wonderful and caring. The director, the nursing staff, activities director, chef, front desk, handyman etc. are all pleasant and kind. They do whatever they can to make your loved one feel at home. I highly recommend considering Vista if you have a loved one looking for a good assisted living home.

Moving mom from one facility to another is always a difficult transition, however the staff at Vista Springs made that transition easy. The open feel and well laid out facility makes it feel like a home. Mom is now more engaged and enjoying her new home.
