My mother stayed here during a transition period ( about a year) before I moved her closer to me out-of-state. The staff and caregivers were the standout. They made sure she was safe, eating well and went above and beyond to help her adjust to the new surroundings. The food could be better but my mother didn't seem to mind which is all that matters.

This is a lovely place for the unfortunate situation for an ailing parent. I had a wonderful experience dealing with the Senior Community Relations Director, Gabi Popescu! What a lovely, caring and supportive human being. She really helped me understand all options and I truly enjoyed how kind she was to me and my dog as we visited the property (more than once.) She made it easier to handle all the pain I'm going through right now, trying to make the right decisions for my Mother. They're lucky to have such a wonderful woman working there.

I was there as a visitor, very impressed with staff and faciltiy. The environment is nice and clean. The staffs are well trained, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for an assisted living for you or your love ones.

As a former employee at Truewood Henderson I would have to say this is one of the best places I’ve ever worked! The staff is amazing! They are very welcoming and treat everyone like family. We always worked hard as a team to ensure the residents are taken care of and happy. I would definitely recommend this place! I’m definitely planning on coming back here as soon as I can.

Suffering from dementia and Alzheimer"s is frightening for the person and family. After the hardest task of finding a skilled facility I was the most comfortable with Merrill Gardens Memory Care. I knew I had made the right choice. I cannot say enough about the staff for the wonderful care they have given to my sister, from fixing her hair, polishing her nails and just so many other things that I could not mention as it would take too long. I find it extremely hard to express how everyone of the staff mattered to our family. The love and care you provided for Joan was done with the grace of angels. I cannot thank you enough. From the very first moment, I have been impressed. The General Manager seemed to be very clear on the programs and we were so impressed with her knowledge and professionalism and caring attitude. My father, living in Nevada, spent nine weeks in a hospital, recovering from his heart attack. Once conscious, he began therapy and was discharged two weeks later. I, living in Virginia, was told a week prior the date he would be discharged, which left me little time to find a temporary place for my dad.During his last week in the hospital, which happened to fall over the July 4th weekend, I looked at as many assisted living facilities as possible. With many people off for the holiday weekend, I was very limited in my options.Siena Hills, the first assisted living facility I visited of five total facilities, was ultimately the best place for my dad. The facility itself is wonderful and I was able to try the food, which was exceptional.Besides the facility, the staff is very helpful and went beyond any other assisted living place I visited. One person I have to mention is Rudy, the director of sales, who made a tremendous effort in making arrangements. I explained my situation to Rudy. He was very understanding and informative, even suggesting communities that better suited my fathers financial needs.Ultimately, Rudy took the stress, coordination, and frustration out of transitioning my dad out of the hospital. Out of all the facilities, Rudy was the only one to reach out to me and actually proceed with the necessary paperwork, coordinating with the hospital in order to relocate my dad. I wasnt given much time to find a place for my dad, which gave Rudy even less. He spent his Fourth of July weekend helping me with my father, which I truly appreciate.The facility is in term luxurious, and the staff is warm and inviting. Overall, I am highly pleased with my decision to transition my dad into Siena Hills after his heart attack. I could not ask for a better place for my father, especially with my being on the opposite side of the country.

We adore Merrill Gardens at Siena Hills. We met the chef and told him how wonderful the food is. We had trout and duck and steak. At an assisted living!!! Lanie is the worlds best person and director. My mother is as happy as she can be. This is only 2 miles from where we live so it is most convenient. Everyone is as pleasant as they can be. We are more than satisfied. Thank you Merrill Gardens.

Our loved one has been at Merrill Gardens at Siena Hills since mid 2018. In the beginning she was in the beautiful assisted living building, and in July 2019 she moved to the Memory Care Garden House. The staff are all the most caring, loving, concerned, capable, aware, tolerant, kind, gentle, human beings caring for human beings that anyone could possibly imagine. Ive seen each and every one of the care-givers watching the residents constantly to make sure they are comfortable, not in harms way, and talking to them as if they were their own. Each of the residents is included in the activities by Julie LeGrand, the Activities Director, and the care-givers, filling their days with laughter, happiness, music & entertainment that they remember, therapy pets that bring light to their eyes and a smile to their faces and an obvious warmth to the hearts of these dear residents. Julie and all the care-givers bring a quality of life to all the residents that they could not possibility get anywhere else. When our loved one came to the Memory Care Garden House at Merrill Gardens Siena Hills she wasnt doing really well over all. Over the last 7 months she has always got a smile on her face and has a new attitude and quality of life, without question due to Julie and all the care-givers. We are constantly in awe of everyone associated with Merrill Gardens at Siena Hills. Our deepest appreciation to them all!

The staff has been very helpful in helping my in-laws acclimate to their new lifestyle. They are enjoying the facility, meals, and activities. They moved in two weeks ago, and everyone has been very nice.

Im a guest of a resident at Merrill Gardens. Food is great here. Service from waitress and waiters are poor. One in particular is a woman with reddish brown hair and stands at 510, my relative and I sat at dinner table and only one menu was brought out, then food becomes available and only my relatives arrived, 5 minutes later our salads arrived and shortly after that my meal arrived. Unprofessional by any standards. I brought my complaint to the desk receptionist and the matter will be attended to.

Merrill Gardens surpasses my expectations. It provides many services. Dining in a comfortable room and the food is regularly improved. Transportation is offered to residents going to doctors, shopping and other local venues. Housekeeping is provided once a week, including laundering bed sheets.The staff is friendly and all know your name. The residents are also friendly. You can develop friendships with staff and residents. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable.Merrill Gardens offers numerous activities to meet the needs of the residents. Movies, bingo, board games, exercise class, trivia, crossword puzzles. Also, once a week the residents are given mini concerts from professional singers and educational programs.The rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. Maintenance staff, besides fixing things, will help you hang pictures and other personal needs.I would recommend Merrill Gardens located in Henderson, Nevada to anyone who wants to live in a wonderful community.

Moms friend suggested we consider Merrill Gardens at Siena Hills so we went to visit and were warmly welcomed. Dawn did a nice job taking us on a tour and explaining the available options. The place was quiet and clean. The residents had nice smiles. The caregiver staff we ran into were very friendly and their longevity and experience were comforting. We were treated to lunch in their dining room where Ryland, our server, made us feel like family. We left with an overall positive impression.

I worked with your Sienna Heights property in Henderson NV specificallyWith Lanie Spradlin. She was amazing. My mother is a proud lady who was very hesitant to move from her home but with Lanies help and support we convinced her to try. She developed an infection and was hospitalized the day before she was to move from Michigan. It looked like she would not be able to move. We received a lot of support and even a get well message from Lanie as well as a full refund , I did not expect. Mom id in rehab now and when back on walker has ask to go to Merrill ( major break through).Thank you all for being so great. We will be looking to find your next opening as soon as she is well enough to travel.Thank you all so much. Hope to see you soon .Bruce Bommarito

My parents moved into Siena Hills January of 2008. My mother is blind so my dad was her eyes. We lost my dad in September of 2011 and was not sure how mom would get along. I have to say that every employee has been absolutely wonderful to her and to me. There are so many activities to choose from on a daily basis and she participates in almost all of them. She is never made to feel unwelcome due to her vision. I am there so often that I feel like one of the residents and am always treated warmly. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that wants to know that their parent(s) are in a safe enjoyable environment.
