CareOne at Parsippany has been heaven sent, I recently had to make the hardest decision in my life when my mother had to be placed in a nursing home. Although it’s about an hour drive from me it’s worth it considering that I looked at facilities closer to me that do not compare to CareOne. The staff here as well as the nurses are friendly as well as attentive to my mothers needs, if I have a concern they are quick to assist without hesitation. The facility is always clean and there are plenty of activities to keep my mom engaged. If you are thinking about putting your loved one in a nursing facility please do not hesitate. I can actually go home after a visit and feel relieved knowing that my mom is being taken care of without any regret. Thank you to everyone at CareOne in Parsippany you guys are great!!

No one cares except for CareOne. My mom was admitted there and she had an amazing experience with all the nurses and therapist and others. I was assured that my mom was taken care of without any worries, and CARE ONE did! The best thing in our loved ones’ lives is to ensure that they are given due care when we are not around, so we entrust them to someone who truly cares for our elders, and CARE ONE has delivered that. Great experience. Care, Ambiance, Reliability are Exceptionally Offered that Nowhere Ever be found! The facility is ultimately clean, employees are very nice and so reliable and the meal that my mom have she said are all tasty. Keep up the good work care one Parsippany NJ. You are highly recommended. Thanks to Rikka for admitting my mother at Care One Parsippany.

This facility is so clean and which is very good for our elders' mental health due to always having good vibes every single day with excellent ambience that the entire environment at Care One Parsippany provides. My mother in law is admitted through this facility through Rikka and she has provided an amazing accommodation for my mother in law. All the employees are so kind, accommodating and reliable and even the housekeepers or cleaners are on the spot to ensure that my mom's room is clean. This is the kind of facility that is highly recommendable that cares for their patients or elders. Meals are good according to mom. Keep up with your high standard to ensure that each elders would feel like at home and cared for. The main goal is to consistently provide an utmost care for our loved ones and assurance of their safety which are evident in this facility. Thank you so much.

My mother was there for almost a month. We could not have been happier with the care she received. The physical therapy staff was top notch and always willing to discuss progress with our family. The nursing staff was spread thinly but they always made sure that my mom had all that she needed and I truly appreciated them for all they did. The aides were absolute angels. They took time to talk to my mom when we could not be there and they always made sure she ate and drank enough fluids. Hopefully we dont need to ever return, but if we do, we know we will receive the best care!!

We brought my mother here for rehab after she broke her hip and the rehab she received was great. They saw her 7 days a week and got her walking in what seemed like no time. The room was very nice and private and the renovation they have going is beautiful.

Physical therapy in my experience can be an intimidating process but with this facility and staff, the process was not only tolerable but was actiually a pleasurable experience, all made possible by Mr. Schneider whos communication skills and knowledge of the program could be taken note throughout the organization. Thank you!

Brian and his team always take such good care of my mom when she is there for respite care. They are accommodating, very attentive, and responsive. Even during this covid crisis they kept her safe and offered much needed respite for our family. Thank you so much for all you do!

CareOne at Morris is very well managed and they provided great service for my mother as she was rehabbing from her knee injury. We are Indian so I wanted a place where there are people who speak the language and where they can also provide the type of food my mother likes as well and this was top notch. I also had the manager of the place available to me via cell and text and whenever any situations arose regarding prescriptions or anything that my mother needed, I was able to reach out to the manager and get the situation resolved. They also took all precautions as needed during this covid period and we were also able to set up meetings in a protected environment whenever we wanted. Today my mother is back home and they also assisted us in setting up the home rehab for her next stage of recovery. We are deeply appreciative of all of the services offered by CareOne at Morris. Thank you!

All my grandmother wanted to do was be home for the holiday and CareOne Morris was able to make that happen for her. They did an amazing job in the short time she was there with therapy and rehab. My family and I were able to get weekly updates from her care team and her transition from the hospital was flawless (thank you Kate and Brian). We were hesitant to place her because of covid but I cannot say enough good things, especially in a time where its extremely difficult to have your loved one in a nursing home. CareOne Morris does a great job to keep covid out and everyone safe. Thank you!

CareOne Morris did an amazing job with my father during covid. We did not think he would be able to recover but when he did they did an amazing job helping him get his strength back. There were some communications issues at first but with everything going on they were still able to reach out and update us. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for therapy and rehab for their loved one.

A very difficult time with Covid. My loved one with dementia is being well taken care of. Clean, prompt return of phone calls and a feeling that my loved one is being taken care of when I can not provide the love and attention myself. Kudos to Lauren, the evening nurse who puts him on the phone so we can hear each other voices. To let my family know we have not abandoned them since we can not go into the facility. We can go into hospitals, stores, rehabs and eat in, but we can not visit our loved ones in skilled facilities. Murphy needs to change this policy and I urge everyone to write to him. Thanks to Lisa, Greta, Don, Akeshia and all those at Care One taking the time to provide kind and compassionate care. God bless!

The therapy I received it was significant and very professional. They helped me walk and learn how to use the wheelchair as well as the Walker. They help me learn how to get into bed as well as you get out of bed. No social media techniques for how to move in a wheelchair. They treated me very professionally, are very educated, friendly, and courteous. The orient you on what problems are you having help you find the best solution. I will personally recommend you all.

My mom was sent to CareOne from Saint Claires two months ago and discharged last week. She had a bad wound as she is a diabetic. They did a great job of stabilizing her blood sugar as well as taking care of her wound. I was able to FaceTime with her multiple times a week and do window visits with her. Her wound was hardly noticeable at discharge. I am extremely pleased with how well the wound specialist at the facility took care of her as well as the therapists!

My brother who has some special needs and medical issues has been a resident at care one at Morris for 2+ years. While there he has been very well cared for. The staff has always been fabulous. His nurses and aids are attentive and pleasant at all times. It is a very friendly environment. Unfortunately COVID-19 emerged and nursing homes especially became very susceptible sadly my brother did test positive and thankfully recovered after 22 days. During this time I was given constant updates from the staff regarding his condition. As hard as it was, not to be able to visit him and as sick with worry I was, the director of nurses, Kim, and the social worker Sandra kept me appraised of his condition on a daily basis. They told me to call anytime and I did everyday. I received prompt feedback every time I reached out. The entire staff went over and above their jobs during a very stressful time. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for the tireless and selfless care that my brother was given by the entire staff at care one. They are all heroes. Eileen

While attending the Town Hall meeting at CareOne Morris ALF (Parsippany) facility on April 12, 2018 I distributed my personal thoughts in writing. This being my first attendance at such a meeting, and my mother (who is 104 yrs. old) being a resident now for over two years, I submit those thoughts as follows: The entire staff at CareOne Morris ALF is tremendous. They are all amazing people inside and out, with a lot of heart and soul. They are all personable and approachable. Never without something nice to say and a smile. It is so pleasant to come to CareOne Morris ALF no matter when one comes. I cannot name each member of the staff individually, and I do not need to because every single one of them is extraordinary. The nursing staff and caregivers are intelligent, tenacious, and know at all times the status of the residents. Periodically I approach them about something and they immediately connect with the issue at hand. I have full trust and confidence in anything and everything they do. By my standards that is amazing. The kitchen: It is so comforting to see and know how accommodating and cooperative the kitchen staff is. They know each resident's likes and dislikes, habits, and limitations. They are attentive to residents at mealtimes, and serve their meals with the easiest utensils, plates and cups for them to use. They are always there and working so hard for the residents and their families. The entire premises smells very clean and airy, including the rooms, bathrooms and common areas. And they are kept neat and clean. Even their clothes and bedding add to the clean smell. All Morris ALF staff understands each resident's personality, needs and limitations, and is so conforming to them. The staff is truly a gift from God. God bless them. I love the community set up between the two buildings and all sections of CareOne. Residents, families and staff all get to know each other and it creates a family and a campus effect. Activities and entertainment always abound, always something for everyone. I am extremely satisfied with the care my mother has received this past two+ years. We are very fortunate to have such a facility in our own backyard. I hope my generation will have this standard in the years to come.

I have visited my loved one in this facility periodically over the last couple of years, and visited both acute and long term care wings. In general, I have found CareOne Parsippany to be of good quality during the day and average quality at night. The facility itself is a bit run down but largely clean, and most importantly, the staff, nurses and administrators whom I've met have been responsive to requests, speak with me and my loved one courteously, and seem caring. It is always difficult to know how your loved one is being treated when you are not present, but I have a reasonable measure of confidence that the folks there genuinely care about my loved one. Having said that, there are a few chronic problems I've noticed since the first time I visited the facility: -The level of attention paid by receptionists to incoming visitors is inconsistent at best and negligent at worst - depending of course on who it is. But for the most part, I could walk in and out at will without signing in. That literally keeps me up at night because I worry about who the receptionist will let in. When I address them, they address me back. But I shouldn't have to address them. They should be monitoring the doors and who is approaching them, they should be immediately and proactively greeting the visitor, and they should be inquiring which patient is being visited, before insisting one sign in. In all my many visits, this has all happened only once that I can remember. I was there this past Sunday and the young lady who was behind the desk looked bored beyond belief and I doubt she would have noticed if I'd walked in brandishing a weapon. Really?! -In the past week, I was there a total of 3 times for visits that lasted at least 1 hour each, and all at different times of day and night. No staff member or nurse or doctor ever came in to visit with my loved one, except the person who delivered food once and she couldn't even really answer my question. When I go up to a staff member and ask them a question, they're very responsive. But my loved one is old, weak, extra hard of hearing and doesn't speak English fluently, though she understands it and speaks it well enough to accomplish the basics. She has a terrible memory and is scared or disoriented at times. She doesn't always remember to press the call button, and can be stubborn sometimes. So I would hope that at least 1 person - whomever, a nurse, staff or even orderly - would just come in at least 1 time during an hour period to make sure she's ok or see if she needs something. It could be happening all of the time when I'm not there - an hourly check in - but if it's not happening when I'm there 3 days in a row and for 1.5-2 hour visits, how can I be confident it's happening otherwise? Tonight, my 4th visit this week, an aide did visit once while I was there, but 1 out of 4 are not good stats. - Lastly, and this happened tonight (again), I've frequently found that the phones, remote controls or other equipment in rooms don't work. When her family cannot call her, my loved one is left to think she's been forgotten. There are significant consequences of not investing in the facilities. So those are 3 improvements I'd like to see made soon. I'd be happy to talk with someone there about this; I can be contacted by clicking on my Google profile.
