If you are searching for a skilled nursing home for your loved one then you don't have to look any further than the Little Nursing Home. Their entire staff are the most compassionate and professional people that you will ever meet. While my mother was a resident, my family never had to worry about her needs being met. As a matter of fact, the staff went well beyond my expectations in caring for my mother and they treated her just as if she was a part of their family. I guarantee that you will be more than satisfied with the Little Nursing Home.

The Little Nursing Home is a wonderful facility. It is extremely well managed and the working staff are truly some of the most professional, caring, and compassionate people I have ever met. Their work ethic is second to none. They pay attention to the smallest of details and carry out their outstanding daily care like nothing I have ever seen. They were always accommodating to our entire family and treated us like their own family throughout my Mom's stay here. Her caregivers, nurses, and Brian (owner and manager) all showed up for her funeral (as well as my Dad's two years later). That says it all. I highly recommend the Little Nursing Home if you are looking for a clean, well run and caring facility.

My mother has been a resident at Little Nursing Home for the past 27 months. The owner and head nurse put my family and I at complete ease. My mother has received the best of care. The staff is loving and kind. I would recommend this home to any family whose love one needs compassionate care.

The Little Nursing Home has provided loving, personal care to my Mother for some time now. They treat her with respect, maintain her dignity, and in all cases, lead with love. It’s a rare thing to find a staff with the collective characteristics of the Little Nursing Home. We are forever grateful for their dedication to providing the utmost in care. Thank you!

Little Nursing Home is a fantastic facility with warm and caring staff, from top (owner Brian) to bottom. I’ve had three family members in residence there over the past 9 years and could not be more pleased. I had searched extensively in central Jersey for a facility for my ailing father. My mom, a retired RN, found this place via a newspaper ad. She checked it out, talked RN-speak with the nursing director (also an RN) and said that’s where she would place my dad and transfer my aunt. Then she said, “and if I ever need a nursing home, please put me here, too.” Several years later, my brother and I honored her wishes. We couldn’t be more pleased with the professionalism, site cleanliness, and love shown by all staff members. Even the food is great! The home is sited in a beautiful residential part of town. You would never know that it is a nursing home. If you have a loved one needing a high level of care, please give Little Home a look. I know that my mom, who has always been my best friend, is in good hands. After a visit, you may find that reassurance yourself.

It is my pleasure, and probably the umpteenth time, to sing the praises of the Little Nursing Home (LNH) of Montclair, N. J. My husband, Albert Davis, diagnosed with Dementia, was a resident of the LNH for 32 months. Our children and I opted for LNH after having visited and investigated several facilities in Bergen and Passaic Counties. These nursing homes accommodated as many as several hundred residents. LNH has 29 beds! As a result, we found the care to be more personal, more caring, more concerned. I visited 2-3 times a week; observed the caring relationship the Nursing Director and her staff had with the residents. This was precious. They went beyond the “call of line and duty”....feeding, bathing, dressing, etal. It was heartening to note the assistance given to Al as he read or worked on puzzles and games (provided by LNH). Or when the chef sent an extra serving of ice cream because he knew it was a favorite..... a small gesture, but significant; it was personal. For several months, my husband shared the room with a man who was comatose; ergo, unable to communicate, but the care and service he received continued to be first rate. It is significant to know that, Brian Cumiskey is the 3rd generation in the family to own and manage the Little Nursing Home. He is rightfully proud of the many safeguards taken--—daily temperature checks, wearing of masks, health questionnaires, etc/ for both staff and residents regarding Covid-19, before these protections were State-mandated, resulting in only one resident and one staff member contracting the virus. The decision to send a loved one to a nursing home is made for two reasons: 1. Provide the care the family is no longer able to 2. Provide the family with peace of mind Our “Mission was Accomplished”! Frances Davis February 2022
