my mother has been in skilled nursing for over 4 years and my aunt has lived in independent living for at least 5yrs. My mother has been given kind and gentle care by all the nurses and aides in skilled nursing. (she previously lived in assisted nursing.) My aunt recently became ill and also became a patient in skilled nursing and because of her illness she passed. The family and I appreciate all that kindness skilled nursing extended to them.

After a serious illness and hospital stay, I went to Allergic at the Fountains for a rehab period of about 3 weeks. First I want to say that the staff were wonderful from administration right through to housekeeping. The nurses really paid attention to issues and addressed them promptly. The food, once I was off a pureed diet, was very good. It was also very close to home, family and friends. I really did feel well taken care of, despite the facility going through an administrative change at the time. Totally loved my physical therapy folks. Thank you all for your care.

I came to Allegria in October, 2020. I wanted to have more socialization with peers and relief from home ownership demands due to health issues. After being here for almost 3 years, I am sorely disappointed with this facility. The residents are wonderful folks and I have made many friends. There are many activities available but the appearance and condition of some areas is very depressing. Dirty, bubbled hall carpets, elevators in need of decor repair. My greatest complaint is with the dining experience. There used to be three entrees offered for dinner, Now there are only two and the second choice is not a dinner entree, rather a choice that belongs on a kids menu or a lunch menu and the preparation of the items is wanting. I have no complaints with the staff. They do their best with what the owners provide. In adition the dining room is sterile. The lighting is comercial, there are no window dressings, thereis no warmth to the decor. Dinner time is an event that should be satisfying and pleasurable. The one star rating is not only my personal rating, but a government rating. There needs to be a lot of improvements to Allegria to have that rating improve.

I toured the facility in search of Independent Senior Living for my Dad. This is a hidden gem, situated in on a nice wooded lot. The apartment’s are large with plenty of storage and large covered decks. Pricing is comparable.

We are very happy with the care that our dad is receiving at Allegria at the Fountains in Atco. The facility is clean and inviting. The people who are employed here are so friendly and warm. Dad has pretty advanced dementia but he always says that he’s happy and “has nothing to complain about “. We couldn’t agree more!

My mom needed sub acute rehabilitation again after a fall. The new Administrator (Jason) greeted my Mom within 24 hours of being admitted. We have not experienced this at other rehabs. Mom can be difficult at times, but seems to be working well with the therapy team. Off a great start!

I was concerned about her not walking and being in the wheelchair. The therapist came into her room and asured me that my mom is only in the wheelchair in the activity room. Everywhere else she is walking, and dancing. He told me she is doing great and is always walking. I was very impressed that he came in and introduced himself to me and reassure me that my concerns were nothing to worry about. Very nice man ( Kevin ) thanks again

After finally talking my mother into going into a Senior Living facility, when I took her to Allegria at the Fountains, she could not believe how beautiful it was. She is extremely happy there, which I never thought could happen. All the staff are very courteous, competent and responsible from sales, admissions, maintenance, front desk and housekeeping. Mom said if she knew she would be in a beautiful place like this she would have agreed years ago. She will be 102 next month and absolutely loves it there and so do I. Thank you for having such a well run facility.

This place is an amazing place to work at I know almost everyone there and Im just a private aid for families. Linda and Jenna are the best these ladies do an excellent job in placing families and family members where they are best suited meeting the needs of the residents and as well as their families. I started off with agency and quickly fell into the private sector. I worked for the Gagliardi family taking care of their aunt Jules who is a very sweet person and a great family everyone at Allegria The fountains has treated me so well . I worked at a lot of facilities and I can honestly say that this place is amazing its clean , its well organized. For the most part most of the residents are very happy they have a plenty of activities , outside entertainment. They even have a deaf deaf couple there who teaches the elderly American sign language what a blessing . Oh my goodness so many great activities for the residents and thats how it should be they have happy hour they have exercise they have shopping trips in spree‘s I got to take my girls to Atlantic City with one of the other residents. What an amazing, time and place. This is by far the best facility Ive ever worked in. So if youre looking for a place to place your love one because they may need assisted-living or 24 hour care or they may still be independent but want to live in a elderly community that offers a lot of amenities I encourage you to visit Allegria the Fountains. The staff are amazing great place. ❤❤❤

My father spent some time in rehab and skilled nursing here before finally going into their assisted living facility. Over the past few years he has been in and out of many different facilities and I have to say that the staff and facilities at Allegria have been the best. My father seems well taken care of and the rest of the residents all seem happy and cared for as well. The facilities are clean, the grounds are beautiful and the staff all seem to be kind and caring. Jenna, Alyssa and Monique in the administrative staff all helped tremendously in making the admission process smooth. I highly recommend this place.

We had been searching for an independent living facility for our mother and father, who had been very reluctant to even consider a move from their home, even though they are in their mid-80s and are dealing with some mobility issues. After touring several facilities, where we met staff and spoke with numerous residents to get first-hand reviews, our parents enthusiastically chose a move to Allegria at the Fountains. The wonderful facility, the great staff, and the residents who shared their experience and opinions, along with availability of continued care for assisted living, etc. made it a very positive experience and decision for all of our family. The entire staff showed sincere concern, compassion and respect for every resident. Jenna and Linda from Allegria at the Fountains have been wonderful with all of our family and responding to the many, many, questions and requests weve had. Their interactions with colleagues and residents during the tour made it clear that when they talked about how staff cares about their residents, it was not just a sales pitch. Knowing that our parents can now age in place in a wonderful environment, with new friends, new activities to motivate them and enhance their days, and have a caring support staff on hand, is a great comfort.

When we decided to move our 96 year old father into a Senior Living Center, we did a lot of research into the nearby centers, the services they offered, reviews and word of mouth recommendations. The Fountains turned out to be the best choice for us due to the services provided (memory unit) and the good reviews we received from doctors and friends who had loved ones there. We were very nervous and worried about how this all worked, but the admissions staff at the Fountains was excellent. They made the process straightforward, easy and comfortable, eliminating all of our worries. We had a last minute request for an earlier than anticipated move in date and they jumped through hoops to make it happen. More importantly, they made our father feel comfortable, welcome and encouraged to become a resident. His physical and mental conditions have improved in a short period of time and he is happy. Since February 28, 2021 I have been a very happy and proud resident of Allegria at the fountains in Atco New Jersey. I had my reservations about coming here because I lived in two other places and I didnt take away good feelings from them. However I cant believe how happy I am here at the fountains. The food here is really good! I was quite surprised The apartment is very comfortable. I am visually impaired. Although I live on the Independent living side the staff is more than accommodating and they are always checking on me to make sure that I am happy and comfortable. It started when we spoke with Linda Amorosia who is the marketing director. Site unseen Linda was able to recommend the perfect apartment for me. It is the perfect size and it has a very homey and comfortable feeling to it. Then it all came together with the admissions director Jenna McGrail. Jenna familiarized me with the lease and The day-to-day living habits in the community. Jenna thought that I would be a welcome addition to the community and, I feel like I am. The residents are very very nice to one another and theyve taken me into their family just like I was their own. The price is right and I cant say it enough. I am very happy to be here and I believe I will enjoy it here for the rest of my life.

Over the past ten months, after extremely long and arduous attempts to remain living alone and independently, it became clear that our young friend (67) was not going to be able to manage it. This decision came with much sadness, fear and trepidation. He moved into the Fountains 11 days ago and the move has been transformational!! His life has already improved 110%. i would like everyone to know the loving care that my mom received while a resident at the fountains. she had a stroke 2001 which left her with expressive aphasia and rt sided paralysis. she was 79. she refused to live with family, as a courtesy to us ! we moved my mom into a lovely ground floor apt. with a balcony. she was 100% mentally competent. she had trouble with speech, but mostyly everyone there took the time to let her express herself. physically, she was was limited , but remained ambulatory with the help of a cane. she had no use of her right side, but didnt let that stop her. she made friends, all of whom could communicate with her despite the aphasia. they had many good laughs over the years. sadly, my mom passed away march 15 2014 at the age of 91. she remained mentally competent and as independant as anyone could under the circumstances. she grew attached to many employees over the years, and cherished them. there have been a few very special employees over the years, i cannot begin to name. she had p.t., speech therapy, and caring people look in on her. she became very attached to mary, in recent years . mary always made my mom smile, or laugh, despite her own problems. mary treated my mom with love and respect. we could not have survived the past 12 years without our wendy. she was there in the beginning, middle, and even in the end. she calmed us, helped us, guided us, and always talked straight up to my mom, which she valued, and so did we. my mom grew tired in the end, and was ready to go, and we know she is at peace. we miss her terribly , but we know that the decision we made 12 years ago, was the best one we could have possibly have made for her future. thanks to cedar parke. the family of helga devenny.
