My review related to Brookdale at Country Day Road has fluctuated quite a bit over the last five years. My mother has lived here for five years. There have been some minor issues but most of these issues have been addressed. I will say that the staff, especially, seasoned staff, are super qualified to work with individuals with dementia. The younger staff, however, do need more training. With that said, my mother thinks of Brookdale as her home, and I think this is a very good indication that this is, for the most part, a very safe environment. There's also quite a lot of activities for residents to attend. In short, it's not a perfect facility but nothing is perfect. And, for the most part, a good portion of the staff very much care about the residents at the facility and will do the best they can to help them. My only complaint, really, about this facility is that this facility, according to their website, doesn't have memory care service. I do think this needs to be added back in since many of the residents, including, my mother, have dementia. Finally, I do want to say that the facility will try the best they can to work with one's financial circumstances. Of course, when I say this, this is quite relative, but I do think they do make a very valid attempt to keep residents there since this a community-building assisted-living facility.

Staff is extremely friendly, polite and caring to residents. The facility is very clean and scent free. The location is great for my family and they have a lot of recreational activities for residents. I was really impressed with the overall environment and services offered.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Brookdale Country Day Road seemed like a very nice place overall, it was clean and well kept and the staff were all very friendly. My loved one doesn't require the level of assistance provided here just yet, but this is definitely somewhere we will consider if that time comes!

It's a very nice place. The staff is very friendly, and the facility it's pretty clean. The place is comfortable and my loved one was happy there. I'm satisfied with care and services they offer. My dad was only there for 4 days due to a fall but the staff took care of dad immediately when he was complaining of hip pain. I would recommend Brookdale, formerly Emeritus.

I have visited The Pines in time past; very nice facility, but a little expensive for us. I have given this facility 5 stars, but I'm not sure what I'm rating.
