As a new resident of independent living in a 2 bedroom with 2 car garage unit, I’m very pleased. The staff has been very helpful and flexible with my move. My apartment is beautiful and spacious.

We were very disappointed in this Senior Living Center especially during the Covid period. My father in law passed away "Failure to Thrive" there. When they finally called and said we could come see him he had lost so much weight we didn't recognize him and his poor lips were so dry and so I offered him water and he couldn't get enough, he was very dehydrated and very hungry!! He was there less than 6 months we moved him there during the Covid period and there were no mention at the time that we were not going to be able to visit due to Covid had we knew that we would of NEVER moved him in!! The day we were able to come visit when the staff finally came in which were hours after we got there they were very rough with him. He acted like he was scared of them. Our hearts just sank seeing how he was living and not being taken care of at all. He passed away around 3-4 hours after we left that day and we know it was because of the way he was treated. Please don't move your family member there because they lie and make you feel like they go above and beyond but that lasts only until the family members leave .

Intrepid Hospice has had the privilege of being a care partner with Waterford for their residents, families and staff. The Waterford goes above and beyond to provide great care, have timely and ongoing communication with residents and their families, and provides a wonderful atmosphere for residents to call the Waterford home! Not only do we look forward to programs like the Veterans events we hold in May and November with pinnings and recognition of Service to our country, but also the partnership with the Life Enrichment Program for those residents in the Memory Care Center. We also enjoy working closely with the Director of Resident Relations to ensure the needs of residents and families are taken care of on a daily basis. If you havent been to Waterford, you need to come meet the Care Team for yourself to see why theyre a Step Above. Youll be glad you did.

I'm an entertainer, and have done music performances at the Waterford (and am booked there again in February). I've found the staff to be courteous and helpful, and the residents seem happy.

Love it here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Maintenance a little slow to respond sometimes but do great work. The grounds are beautiful and you can buy meal tickets and bring food back to your apt. Dog friendly. People friendly. I'm home.
