I believe village of East harbor care facility in my opinion is a five-star or more facility I believe they give the best care they have wonderful administration it feels more like a home than just a facility if you were to choose your family to come to this place I believe in my opinion you would get wonderful care and happiness I also believe the director and the assistant director of nursing as well as all the other administration at village of East harbor they are fabulous respectful and great hearted

I honestly don’t know where to begin. My uncle got sick and he is the only one left in Michigan. His only sister lives in Georgia and I am his only niece and I live in Florida. We had no idea where to start or where to turn. And then we met Tina. With nobody local to help, she stepped in like she was family. She handled everything with the help of Trisha, Jessica and the rest of the staff and literally took charge and got him to a beautiful, loving place. This could easily have been one of the worst experiences in our family. Without us being able to get there for a few weeks. It was nothing short of amazing. It broke my heart not being able to get up there for him, but I didn’t have to. The girls stepped up and made it all a seamless transition. He is happy, and speaks so highly of them and how he’s treated there. The facility is beautiful. I can’t wait to get there and hug everybody. For anyone that is out of town and has to deal with this kind of situation. Please call them. Please trust them. There are not enough words to say how amazing of an experience this was for him and how much relief and peace they gave to us. To just say they went above and beyond with not being one family member there to help is not even close enough to describe it. I so love you girls and can’t wait to get there to hug every single one of you!!

Prestiage Commons is such an amazing facility. Cozy, warm and inviting community. The director, nurse and cook truly love their job. They care about the residents,they acknowledge and socialize with them, treating them like family.Definitely a place to be!

My mother was a resident there for about 3 years. She recently moved out because she is doing better/ no longer requiring as high a level of care. All staff including Nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and management were excellent the entire time she was there! I would highly recommend Prestige Commons. They treat the residents with respect. The food was always very good. They didn’t skimp on the food. There was regular socialization for residents which really helped my mother. It had a family type atmosphere. If my mother needs increased help down the line we will definitely be looking into them again so obviously I highly recommend them!

Recently assisted my father with moving to Prestige Commons (he is mobility challenged and needs daily assistance). Everyone has been very helpful during the transition process. He has a nice studio apartment with a great view and seems to enjoy the care and attention he is receiving. Prestige Commons appears to have more employees than residents, as I never have a problem getting ahold of someone or finding someone if I need assistance or have questions. Trina (Executive Director) has been very engaged, accessible and understanding, and Kristy (manager for, I believe, Senior Care Advantage that provides care and assistance for independent living upstairs) has gone out of her way to make sure my father is comfortable. The place seems to be run like a well oiled machine, and all the employees Ive interacted with seem to generally enjoy their jobs. No complaints here, great job so far! Also, keep in mind that visitation is limited and must be scheduled in advance, as this is a vulnerable population, and Prestige Commons goes out of its way to screen visitors and limit exposure to Covid.

We would like to thank Trina Anderson and her entire hardworking staff for the loving care they provided our Mom during her stay at Prestige Commons. Having worked in the longterm healthcare field myself for 5 years I can say our decision to place Mom at Prestige Commons was the best decision we could have made. The food was excellent, her room was always neat and clean and more than anything the staff treated her like family. This past year was especially challenging and the staff did their best to keep her safe as well as keep her family connected by frequently calling so we could speak with her. This was extremely important since we lived 1400 miles away in Texas. We will never be able to thank the staff enough at Prestige Commons, they are truly Gods Angels on earth.

We are very pleased with the care my mom is getting and the interaction from the staff is wonderful, especially this past year when she couldnt have visitors with COVID going on. I live out of state and I never have a problem getting in touch with the director or her nurse if I have questions. I will recommend Prestige Commons to anyone who needs assisted living for their loved ones.

Stopped by to look for a place for my grandma, and I loved it! Everyone was so engaged, doing activities, having fun. It was nicely decorated for upcoming holidays, and very clean! The staff was very sweet and welcoming, and you could tell they really cared about their residents. 10-10 would recommend for your loved ones, I cant wait to have my grandma here and feel comfortable knowing that she is being well taken care of and having fun!

I am truly grateful for the care and compassion that the staff at Prestige has shown to my mother. It was such a comfort to me to know that she was safe and in such great hands. The staff encourages as much independence as possible, and treats each resident as individuals. Each with their own story to tell and purpose. Trina the administrator, and Sarah the staff nurse have shown exceptional dedication over this past year. As well as many of the staff members that I have come to admire. I highly recommend Prestige to anyone I know in search of a place for their loved one!

We had our grandmother placed here out of a friends recommendation. Boy was that the best advice we took. The facility is small, but what a great clean atmosphere it was for her. We had nothing but the best care from all staff beginning at the care giving on up to management. Our questions and or concerns were always taken care of in a timely manner if not right away. We absolutely loved the kindness and affection that was given by all whom we dealt with. Our grandmother passed during this horrible Pandemic, but we know she was treated pretty much like a small family member by the staff. Thank you all, and we would highly recommend this facility to anyone who may be searching for a compassionate facility.

I would highly highly recommend Prestige Commons. Everyone there is so loving and patient with all the residents. It made my moms last few months on this earth as enjoyable as it could possibly have been. The care she received was beyond what I expected.

What a wonderful welcome I received when I stopped by looking for Assisted Living! A member of the staff came and greeted me personally and offered me a coffee. When I met with the Manager, I saw that truly caring people are available to help my mom. I saw an activity that the other residents were doing, they were all singing and looked jovial. This is where I want my mom to live!

Each time I visit, the building is always clean, smells good, and staff and residents are always engaged. Management is present and involved in the life of the community; very refreshing. It takes a special person and group of people to provide quality care to those who need it most, and Prestige Commons has that group of people! Very satisfied with the services offered and the commitment to caring for the elderly community!

My family had to place our mother in a memory care facility.We had chosen Prestige Commons. My family and i are very pleased with the facility itself. The staff here are very caring individulas who take the time to get to know the family aswell as my mother.Their meals that they serve are very good and the place is very clean aswell. Its such a relief to myself and the rest of the family that my mom is in such good hands.Thanks to Trina and her awesome caring staff for all they do on a daliy basis.

I have been in quite a few assisted living facilities and Prestige Commons is one of the best. On entering its clean and welcoming! From the moment i walked through the doors it felt like home, not a facility. The staff is all very helpful and friendly. The FOOD is AMAZING! I often find an excuse to join my mother for lunch! I couldn't imagine her being anywhere else! So if your looking for a place for your loved one look no further !

I have worked here for a year and a half now and have thoroughly enjoyed working here. With management changeover, it has made great improvements to not only the building but the overall satisfaction of the residents. New activities have been brought into place to encourage residents to participate in a variety of activities that they may not previously have participated in. The building has had many updates to ensure the most prestigious of living. Every effort is made by management to ensure the overall satisfaction of residents as well as their families. Staff continue to ensure the needs of residents are met and ensuring they are engaged and participating in any task they may be able to, to encourage sense of meaning in their lives. A new lifestyle of dining has been brought in to try to accommodate new and exciting cuisines, while still maintaining the favorite dishes at the request of residents during resident council meetings monthly. Main priority is always the happiness and fulfillment of all of our residents.

I really liked the idea of the apartment she was able to get. Very desirable. Besides these reasons and because I am there often, I see the genuine care, respect and gentleness each resident is given. Helping them in a respectful way when that resident is having a hard time.
