Atria Salisbury – Reviews
I love this place. Its clean, it smells great, and the staff are so friendly with my dad. Its truly a blessing for us.
Very neat and clean environment. Staff was very respectful and professional. Ashley D. was a huge help in assisting me with questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this establishment.
The process of moving my mother to an assisted living was very hard on the family, however, John and the staff have made the decision and move in extremely easy. I could not ask for my mom to be at a better place. I would and will highly recommend them to friends and family.
My sister and I searched for several months for a place for our Mom to live. We looked at all the assisted living facilities in the area. We chose Atria because of the atmosphere during our tour. That was over two years ago. We continue to be so happy with our decision to choose Atria. The staff are so caring and have made it like a home for Mom. We have been especially pleased with how Atria has continued to help my Mom thrive during this pandemic.
I have recently had the opportunity to look around atria Salisbury, its a absolutely beautiful building. The staff were kind and friendly. I spoke with Amy Cannon the Care director and she truly is amazing she answered all my questions and concerns of moving my father in. Melissa made my father feel at home and welcome during the COVID-19 pandemic! I just to thank them for what they do!
I want to give a huge thanks for the staff who worked with moving my mom in during the hard times of covid. The staff are so helpful and made my mom feel like home!
Everything was amazing the rooms are spacious, lovely dining room and the courtyard was beautiful! While I was walking around the building residents were kind there were activities going on, there definitely is weight lifted of my chest knowing my mother is staying here. I would recommend atria to friends and family!
I have worked at this wonderful community for over 3 years now. I am currently the Engage Life Director here, and could not imagine myself working anywhere else. Having the opportunity every single day to provide the incredible residents who call our community home fun and engaging programming is an honor. Check out our Atria Salisbury Facebook page to see what exciting things we are doing in our community every week.
I moved to Atria in Fall of 2018. My family moved me to Atria and I liked the opportunity to set my apartment up however I wanted. I can plan my days by using the Daily Opportunities schedule to see what fun activities I would like to do that day. There is a wide variety of things for me to join. I really love the happy hour carts. The staff us great! They always want what us best for me and care about my welfare. I really enjoy being here!
Great caring staff ❤
My father was at Atria for several years and he had a great life. We definitely would recommend Atria to our friends and family
My mother has been at Atria for 3 years now and it has been a great experience. As with any new living arrangements, mom had a few concerns when she moved in, however, the staff made it a smooth transition and she is currently enjoying her golden years with new friends and I dont have to worry about her safety or well being! I would give 6 stars if it were possible.
We appreciate the care you have given my mother. She loves it, even with the Covid restrictions. I visit at her weekly at her window, and call her daily. She gets to the dining area to visit her friends. Safe, and caring is how she describes her "home", "Caring" is the best adjective for all the staff. Thank you so much!
Very caring staff ! It shows that they really care about the residents that live there! Billy Peacock is very friendly to the residents! Very exceptional employee! Heard a lot of great things about Atria!
One of my loved ones has been fortunate to use the caring, professional services of Atria Salisbury for quite some time now. We vetted approximately 30-40 assisted living-memory care communities before selecting Atria Salisbury. Our decision came down to one fundamental factor ... they care! That is not to imply the other facilities didnt care; however, the amount of caring that resonated throughout the facility was both overwhelming and comforting. Even during some of the most challenging, unchartered times we all have experienced lately associated with Covid19, Atria Salisbury raised to the occasion. They quickly garnered the necessary resources and put into action a plan to help navigate the constantly changing dynamics of an unprecedented pandemic. I know the health and well-being of my love one is in good hands.
My mother stayed at Atria for 6 weeks of respite care to give me a break from being sole caretaker for her after she had a stroke which left her paralyzed on one side. They were wonderful with her, all of the staff was always cheerful and ready to make sure every resident was happy and comfortable. I really cant say enough good about this place or her stay. She especially loved their weekly Bingo games. Sadly Mom passed away in November this year or I would have had her stay at Atria for another 6 weeks this spring.
I am honored to be able to work for Atria Salisbury as their Executive Director! We have an amazing team of employees who really care about the difference they are making in the lives of the residents. The residents at Atria Salisbury are living happy and engaged lives. Come visit us and become part of the family! Call to schedule a tour.
The staff at Atria Salisbury was friendly. The place was clean, it was bright, and cheerful in there. I thought it was a pretty decent place if you want to place someone in a nursing home. It was nice enough compared to other places. I liked the dining area, and the common areas in that building were pretty nice. The people there were very nice. I liked the staff member who assisted me with the tour; I'd rate them a five. The facilities were clean, neat, and relatively modern. Everything was in very good condition and looked nice.
Great place to work at with great management & great residents. Come in the facility and see for yourself how great the ED and all other management staff members handle new and exciting residence needs. All staff at this facility will take care all of your families needs with respectfulness and honor. We all go the extra mile to take care of residence and residence's family needs.
We had a great experience from the start. Mom made new friends quickly and the activities kept her busy. She really enjoyed the bus trips and lights in Ocean City. I would absolutely recommend Atria to anyone needing a place for their parents.
Atria Salisbury was an excellent place. The staff was very congenial, informative, and answered all of our questions. The food was excellent, and the dining area was nice, clean, and very well prepared. They had a gym, and the rooms were very nice.
Atria was very nice, and the people there seemed to be OK. The dining area and the rooms were very nice. I saw a general congregating area. The people who worked there were very helpful and very nice. They showed us a list of activities and schedule.
Our Hogs and Heroes MD8 members loved our visit! Great opportunity to visit. Happy holidays!
Atria Salisbury probably has everything, but it is also very expensive. It was beautiful. It did have a little extension outdoor area for those in the memory unit, and I liked that. They were doing activities with them when I was there. And the rooms were nice.
Atria Salisbury's residents are the most upbeat, engaging residents I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. They are always interested in socializing and meeting new people. I feel so fortunate to be able to spend my time learning from their wisdom and experience.
Worked here for 2 years and enjoyed my time with the caring and kind staff as well as the wonderful residents!
Very Nice facility where all the help knows the name of every resident.
We are going to transfer my dad to Atria, and I am telling you, this place is so nice. They have individual rooms, 8 activities a day, and the dining room has cloth tablecloths. They have a chef and a menu for each meal. I am telling you, I want to go there. Everyone there, even in the lock down section or the dementia/Alzheimer's section and the assisted living, each has their own individual room. It is very nice, and it has its own bathroom. We actually went there today to set up his room because he will released on Tuesday. The gentleman that we spoke to discuss the price and different things like that is awesome. He has been in touch with me. He is very personable. We went there today to set it up, and the room isn't really ready, but within record time, everything was cleared out and the rooms are clean. I cannot say enoughabout that facility. Of course, you are paying a lot of money for it too, but it is just awesome. They have different exercises for the different stages. Everything is just so impressive. On each level, they have an open area where there are tables, sandwiches, snacks, coffee, juice, and water all the time for them to come and take. They have books and magazines. They have what I like of which they have 3 happy hours a week. Twice a week, they have live entertainment come in. There are 8 activities every day. I am extremely impressed with them. I like the personality of the people; they will all speak to you and look you in the eye.
Atria was smaller and just a little more comfortable feeling altogether. My mother has 24 hour care right there. Everybody was so nice, and if you were sitting there waiting for the director to come out, anybody who is an employee comes by, says hello, and asks if they can help you, so it just felt very comfortable.
The staff do their jobs and they are very pleasant people, they are all our favorite. This statement represents the feelings of the following residents.Louis Becker Dott Russell Pam Haray Art Kaiser and Eleanor Paradee.
My father-in-law was recently a resident at the Salisbury Atria, and while he quickly regressed due to his medical condition, in the short time under your care, my mother-in-law, myself, and his daughters were so overwhelmingly impressed and sincerely pleased with the people, and their quality of caring. I know it takes a special person to perform many of the duties that your lovely attendants perform, and the grace and dignity with which they perform those duties is beyond expectations. Given a different set of medical and emotional circumstances, I believe John would have flourished and enjoyed everything about Atria. Please accept our most sincere appreciation for the tender care provided to our now deceased father (and in law). Very best, Tom Furlong (on behalf of the John Rinck family)PS. I wish that I had made note of each attendants name, as they were all wonderful, but it was a short, and admittedly hectic time (due to John's deterioration). I do however want to thank, and commend Atria, on the wonderful Laura. Again, not to diminish the appreciation of the others, but Laura was extraordinary. God bless all.
There are 2 employees I would like to commend for their superior care, their great attitude, their love, and support of my parents, Bob and Sue Patterson. These two employees are Ms. Laura Crumbaker and Amie Smith. These two CNA's exemplify the best of Atria's standards, and care. They not only perform their duties with meticulous attention to detail, but they truly care and love the residents at Atria Senior Living. I could not ask for more from these two. They are the example that others should follow. I am blessed to have them as part of my parents' care.
This facility was the perfect place for my grandmother. After suffering 2 strokes in 2 years, she needed some help living on her own. We didn't want her to go to a nursing home and she couldn't live by herself, well Atria Salisbury was the prefect place for her. She had a very nice apartment, and she had friends she played cards with. There was a helpful and friendly staff available all the time in case someone needed help, or even just to ask questions. They made high quality meals for her, and also had a transportation service in case she wanted to go somewhere or if she had a doctors appointment. She also didn't have to worry about maintenance, the staff at Atria took care of that as well. This place felt like home but more for my grandmother, and that piece of mind is more then anyone could ask for a loved one.
