Could not have found a better place for mom. All her needs are met and she enjoys the activities so much that she sometimes forgets about us.

Smiles and upscale facility are not enough when you need good care for a loved one. Nurse purposely gave my parent the wrong medication, not once, but twice. Management refused to provide me incident reports. Paid for extra care that my parent never received. Regularly found him to be wearing the same clothes and he received no cueing that was expressly addressed with the staff. Repeatedly addressed issues with the management to no avail.

I have been a vendor in many long term care settings and by far this building has the most genuine staff. From the minute I arrive I see smiling faces and staff speaking with interest to residents. Always smells great and people are active. Top down the management is refreshing to work with.

My mother has been a resident at Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air for about a year. We have been so pleased with the care she receives and more importantly the kindness of the staff. EVERYONE there is so friendly and nurturing. My mom is always joking with the staff. It warms my heart to know she is in such good care by amazing people especially throughout this pandemic. They have been excellent about communication regarding my mom and also any other pertinent information about the facility and residents. I feel so lucky that we found Brightview. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for assisted living or a nursing home.

Im not sure there will be enough space to say all of the things Id like to about this community. We had moved my in-laws from our home to an assisted living place in New Jersey last Summer. It was a place my in-laws had visited and were comfortable in their decision to go to. What was going on there, or more like not going on there was reprehensible. Why didnt we think of Brightview in the beginning!! I started the process last August, to get my in-laws into Brightview, Bel Air. Dealing with Katie Schlepis was wonderful! Jen Casper, the director, was available any time we had a question. We were finally able to make the transition from New Jersey to Brightview in early October. My father-in-law would be in Well Springs and my mother-in-law in the assisted living area. We had been so concerned about my father-in-law, but April Ames, the main nurse, advised us to make a few changes with him and his treatment...... and the change in him was almost miraculous!! We are so thankful for Aprils and director Dave Millers care! My father-in-law was probably close to the end stage of his dementia when he moved into Well Springs. But with Daves help and Aprils suggestions, and all the rest of the Well Springs staff, we truly believe the last 2 months of his life were the happiest my father-in-law had in a long time. Everyone at Brightview cares!! When you place your loved one in the care of these great people, the staff of Brightview truly make them feel like family coming home. EVERYONE there is awesome!! Whether it is to help with a TV remote, fix a wobbly toilet seat, or to help with blinds on the window, the people at Brightview Bel Air are extended family. You can not go wrong by bringing your family member to this place. From Ali Smith, who gets requests completed before I can even blink, to Bobbie, who takes sundaes and other goodies to people and lifts their spirits. My family and I highly recommend Brightview Senior Living of Bel Air. Keep up the awesome work you guys!!

My mother moved to Brightview in October. The staff has been very helpful while she is making the transition from independent living. Brightview management has kept families informed concerning COVID protocols, visitation and vaccination. The staff are warm and caring. I recommend Brightview.

A wonderful place for anyone needing assisted living. The management and staff were so warm and caring. Every need was met with sincerity, promptness, and courtesy. We moved my mother in law to Brightview about a year ago. We moved her from her home and it was a really big decision. It definitely took her some time to adjust but I have to say it was the best decision we ever made. The staff is so caring, they are really going above and beyond especially during the pandemic. We are truly grateful!!

Caring
Brightview of Bel Air is quite luxurious with beautiful furnishings and surroundings. They have a garden area where residents could walk outside, yet it is still enclosed so that they aren't going to be wandering off the property. They also have activities that the residents could participate in. The dining area is also very nice. They also have a separate unit for the memory care patients, so that's good. That would have been good for my mother. It is a little more expensive; that's one reason I did not choose it. The person who gave me the tour was very helpful at explaining how they could meet my mother's needs

Caring
Brightview was very nice and very clean. There weren't too many areas where the residents could get together socially; the spaces were more individualized. The rooms were typical, on the small side, and like hotel rooms. The staff seemed lovely, friendly, and nice.

Caring
The layout of Brightview of Bel Air looked good. It was updated and very nice inside. It had a couple of floors to it. I saw a couple of the rooms that they had available at the time; they were nice-looking too. They had lot of activities going on. When we were there, which was around Christmas, there was a pizza party going on for the employees and for the people there; that was very nice. My mother-in-law has been sick for awhile, but they have been contacting me at least once a year to find out what the status is with her, so I would say that's very good follow up.
