My husband was at Stone recently for short term rehab and we were so pleased with every aspect of the care. The staff are outstanding, everyone from Emily the social worker to all the PT and OT workers and all the nurses. Even the food was good, way above average for hospital and nursing home food. Unfortunately the facility has had to mix the short term rehab folks with the long term residents so the night time was occasionally disruptive, but they moved my husband to a private room in a different corridor so he wouldnt be disturbed at night (without our even requesting the move!). The place looks a little old, like a college dorm on the outside, not new and modern, but the care he got was exceptional.

Moving my elderly mother from her home was something I had to do but procrastinated. Then, I found Stone. I feel as though we both hit the jackpot. She transitioned remarkably well with the help of the Executive Director Nick Baker and the staff. She is now safe and content. The staff are a most dedicated one ...all of them and always rising to meet the needs of their elderly patients and residents in either care or some form of entertainment. It is run very orderly and well and has a family atmosphere. Its not always easy to work with the elderly but I have to say this is a fantastic team. I could not have prayed for a better fit for her. If I could give 50 plus stars I would. Its hard to single out just one caregiver as they all do a fantastic job but I especially like Yelena Vintsevsky. She has been very attentive and has tremendous patience with my Mother in the past 2 years. However we are blessed to have them all. Dont hesitate to schedule an appointment if you have an elderly family member that needs more care than you can give. Look no further than here. Stone Rehab was a great place for my mom to recoup from a broken leg and arm. At 92 this is very difficult but the staff at Stone was very caring, professional and dedicated. Nick Baker , Executive Director, leads by example. The nursing staff is exemplary. and are very knowledgeable and proficient. The aid staff are outstanding, - they are always attending to a resident who rings their bell, who calls out for assistance, care with tenderness and patience. The food is good as well which is more than I can say for other rehab facilities my mom has been too. My mom went home after almost 6 weeks at Stone and is improving at home. I highly recommend Stone and that is a recommendation from a lot of rehab experience with my mom and I am a very hands on and attentive daughter.

I am impressed by how well the staff is able to interact with the person inside even for their least functioning patients. There is real love at Stone Institute. My family has been very pleased with our choice and Mom was at Stone for four years.

The staff at Stone are all so compassionate and thoughtful! I appreciate all their patience and hard work! The last 4 months has been an emotional time for my mom and our family. I cant thank the staff enough for all of their support!! A big shout out to Emily, the fabulous social worker who takes the time to call me to share how moms doing, Patty the wonderful nurse who calmed mom when she was upset and scared to Kathryn the sweet reception who gives such a warm welcome each day! And lets not forget Tori, the talented activitys goro who never leaves without giving my mom a loving hugI also want to thank Amy and Martha for showing such compassion toward my mom! All of the staff have made our moms new home a wonderful place to be!

Clean, good staff who really care about the residents. especially Amy, and Tori as well as the 2nd floor Nurse Patty. All three of them are always friendly, welcoming and take their time to talk to you about you loved one. Patty is always informative when asked questions. I have worked in healthcare facilities for over 15 years. I went and worked at Stone part time and loved it there. The staff was friendly, nurturing, and very attentive to residents. The building was so clean, residents rooms were set up so nice. I worked in activities and they have a great activity department. I would highly recommend this place to either work at or to put a family member .

My mom has been here for over a year now. Everyone has been wonderful. Its the best decision my family made for her. She is fairly young (82) but has dementia and could not live on her own anymore (nor did she want to live with any of us, lol). This place does a lot of fun activities, the food is decent and all her needs are met.

My Mom has lived at The Stone Institute for several years now, following two strokes. The staff is remarkably caring and patient. I am very grateful for the care she is receiving there. I know , I trust, that she is in very, very capable and skilled hands.
