My cousin Mary Breslin was a very independent woman even at 92-93 years of. It was very difficult to get her to consider moving to assisted living. Over time the staff won over Mary. It became her home. The staff there are top notch. They went well beyond what I or any one else expected of them. I can say without reservation that Zelma Lacey is a ten starts out of ten. I really love Zelma Lacey House of Charlestown. It's very homey and very quaint. If we get my mother in a place, I would like her there. It's a very nice company. I was impressed because most of the employees were there long-term. They don't come and go really quickly. The monthly rent included a certain amount of personal care, the dining room options, the help and the assistance. It's an older community because it wasn't 55 and older. They had transportation and medical services. The person who showed me around was wonderful, very personable, and very friendly. The dining room was like a restaurant where you can order what you wanted, but it's homey and very comfortable. The place was extremely clean.

We liked Zelma Lacey House of Charlestown very much. We were very impressed and we loved it. The place is extremely clean and we just went cold turkey. We didn't make an appointment. We just walked in and it was spotless. The tenants and workers were wonderful. We thought it was the perfect place for my mom. I just loved it. They have an exercise room, game room, and a little theater area with a couple of computers so they have plenty for the tenants to do. I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it was. The director was very nice and informative.

The admissions director at this community was very great ,and helpful. It was because of her that my aunt was comfortable with making the move to this community. She was very understanding, and patient. My aunt is doing great since her move to this facility. I'am satisfied with all they have done for our family. Everything about this community is great, and it is a community I would recommend to my friends.
