Carriage Crossing Taylorville – Reviews
This facility treats each resident as family and take great pride in the wonderful community they have built.
Kind caring compassionate people that take care of my father like I would they go above and beyond they always keep us well informed of good things and when he has trouble I recommend them highly
very clean, caring and understanding staff
Everyone is pleasant and helpful to the needs of our neighbors.... I will always recommend this facility for future care of loved ones
Takes outstanding care of their neighbors, Activites for the Neighbors are well thought out, trained Staff, Professional Management. I don't understand the bad reviews towards this Facility, every time I visit my family member, she can't tell me enough of how good they are treading her. Every time I talk to the Staff, I get treated very lovely, and even when I ask questions, they try to help me as much as they can. If I ever needed to bring in another family member, I would most definitely choose this Facility over any other in Taylorville. I really can't say much else to it other than the fact that the Bad reviews are not accurate. And when I asked Management about it, they explained to me what has happened with those families and that there are always people whom you can't make happy even when you follow their instructions. All and all I would give this Facility a 10/10
Staff works extremely hard. They have to go through individual dementia training at least once a year plus a training once a month. Three very beautiful halls, full time nurses, and a new Executive Director that has been a nurse and a DON for many many years. They love every one of the neighbors, and have amazing activities 3+ times a day plus exercises.
Experienced staff caring and compassionate always looking for something new to help the neighbors
Never met a more caring and more wonderful staff. They treat the neighbors with love and kindness. I Dont know them all but Simone Marissa and Jackie Vicky and Cayla the nurses and Steph the Director. They have made a heartbreaking decision easier on my family. Love to you all Cathy Moliske Craggs
loved the care my grandma recieved while she was there for over 3 years. she passed in May and had great care while she was there. The staff are so loving and caring.
I understand that everyone has their own opinion but people need to realize it is an assisted living facility, we are not skilled care so you dont have to be certified to be an employee thats why we are called resident specialists even though I myself am .every faculty has its downfalls and bashing people certainly isnt the way to get things fixed . I have worked there for years and I love my job and my neighbors and I do the best I can to make sure they are taken care of. As for the saying the employees steal, that was one girl and she was terminated as soon as she was caught. Thank you to the family members of the neighbors past and present that show your support and that do see that their family is loved.
My mother, Catherine a resident for the last 3 years recently passed away. There are not enough words to describe the wonderful care that she received. It did not matter how much she yelled, the nurses and caregivers always treated her with love and respect. Her final week each staff member came into her room and hugged her, telling her good-by. Each of the staff treated her as if she was their family member. The care provided to the "neighbors" is outstanding ! We will never forgot the love that was also provided to the family. Daughter, Catherine Elston
My Aunt Velma recently passed away and was the first resident to move in there when it opened. I want to thank all the wonderful aids and nurses who were so kind and loving and made her last days comfortable. My Aunt was surrounded by loving people when she took her final journey and it was very much appreciated! Thank You.
My mom lives there in assisted living. She's happy there. She was living in fla. all alone and had some medical issues. We looked at lots of nice places, but this was the one we liked the best. Everyone that works there are so nice and helpful. There is always activities and even a 4 pm happy hour. Beautiful grounds along the Monocacy River
My mom moved into assisted living at Trails of Orono last summer. From the very beginning we knew we had made the right choice. The staff is so caring and made sure she was engaged in all the activities she wanted to be and felt so very welcomed. I believe the smaller size of this facility makes it special. The staff all know each resident whether they are assigned to that person or not and look out for them. The facility itself is so warm and beautiful with a setting in the woods. They have an excellent exercise program which is so important for seniors as well as various other activities and a spiritual program that is nondenominational. Most important, my mom is happy and enjoying her days. I highly recommend Trails of Orono for your loved one.
I love u guys, u take really good care of my mother, all u employees are very caring individuals, Thank you.....Dale Thompson
