I think it is now for persons who need quite a bit of help. About 20 years ago when my aunt was in this facility it was for people who needed very little assist. They could come and go on their own. Most were ambulatory without walkers. Times have changed. Employees could answer the phone saying Rock Run Place so a caller knows they haven’t gotten a wrong number. All they say is hello.

My family member is safe and being well taken cared for, the staff is very friendly and helpful.The grounds are beautiful with beautiful flowers everywhere and I love that it looks onto the Rock Run nature center, there is always something to do like bingo and day trips, and the dining room has a chef with nice food

I have been coming to Rock Run Place for approximately 3 years and working alongside their team as a home health nurse. I can honestly say that the staff, at both their Memory Care community and the senior Assisted Living, are dedicated and caring. They treat the residents as they would their own loved ones. I go to many communities and Rock Run Place is like no other. I would trust them with the care of my own family!

Moved my mother there in September 2018, she has dementia and had to be in a secure environment for her safety. She absolutely loves her room, the food and entertainment. Shes always happy when my sisters and I visit her. The staff is wonderful and very caring. There are many activities that include families to participate throughout the year.Id highly recommend Rock Run for anyone who needs a safe and secure place.

We brought my mom to Rock Run Place originally for a respite stay so we could get a break. We had her stay in the Memory Care Assisted Living building and was so impressed by what great care they gave her and how happy and involved with activities she was, that we moved her in permanently. The community is beautiful and the staff are incredibly kind and caring. Mom even enjoys the food! It was a hard decision to move her from home, but when I saw how much more of a quality of life she was getting, I know I made the right choice.

My aunt has been a resident at Rock Run Place for almost a year and loves it. Every time I visit shes happy and socializing more than she did when she lived on her own. They have a lot of activities and go on outings to keep her busy. Shes made many friends too. It wasnt an easy decision, but Im glad we did. Staff is great too!

I was able to visit my brother a week ago after not seeing him for six months. When he was at home, he was not social and was depressed. I was amazed to see the difference in him when I came for a visit! He was joining in on activities, talking to his tablemates at meals (and thankfully, gained about 10 much needed pounds!) and happy!!! I havent seen him this happy since before his wife passed away 5 years ago. Thank you to Rock Run Place for all youve done for my brother. I saw how kind your staff was to him and the others. It put my mind at ease knowing you are there when I cant be. And thank you for making room for me at your Thanksgiving celebration. The food was wonderful! I know why he gained those 10 pounds, now! 🙂

I just want to tell you my mother LOVES it. This was so hard for us and the Executive Director and Community Manager made it so easy. Place is clean and smells good. The residents look happy. So far so good!
