Small facility with friendly, caring staff and a neat community.

I recently had a couple of positive experiences with Avery Place that I wanted to share. First, the staff seems to be on top of managing all the COVID implications. My mother and the other residents were recently tested and the results came back quickly and I was notified promptly that everyone was clear. Big relief! Secondly, my mother seemed to be coming down with a sinus infection. She has COPD so this can be a little scary. The staff called me right away and unfortunately I was out of town. Her PCP couldn't work her in for an appointment, it didn't warrant and emergency room visit, so it was the ideal case for an urgent care clinic. The staff drove her to a clinic that she'd been to before because they had all her information and records. It was late in the day and the clinic was some distance away, probably further than they would like to go. The team at Avery Place got her loaded up and drove her to the clinic, making sure the whole thing went well. I was 300 miles away and quite concerned. But they took care of the situation and I'd say they went above and beyond. So, I'm quite pleased and wanted to put this out there in case folks are looking for a nice place for their loved ones. Thank you, AVERY PLACE!

We moved my dad into Avery Place last year. He has been very happy living at Avery. He enjoys the food and the staff are wonderful taking care of him.

My mother has been a resident of Avery Place for almost 18 months. This was an unexpected move for her but was necessitated because she experienced a bad fall and Covid-19 made at-home care too risky. During her residence, we have very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility, the availability of staff and the genuine of all the lead-staff. Nothing is perfect, of course! However, Mom has been safe, healthy and in very good hands! We, her family, appreciate Avery very much!

Avery place is outstanding! You can feel the love the staff has for the residents the moment you walk into the facility. Avery Place is very clean and the residents really enjoy living there. I would HIGHLY recommend Avery Place!!!!

I feel I made the right decision placing my father here. I drop in at different times and the place is always clean and my father is clean. They have activities scheduled every day for the clients. The food is good. The staff is friendly.
