Stopped in on a whim. Did not even know this place was here. Sorry I wasted my time. This community is a disaster. Old, run down, not sufficiently operational for elderly. It is under renovations but I was told this has been in process for months and now close to being finished. Spoke to a few residents sitting out front. They are not happy with the food, housekeeping, or management. The woman at the front desk seemed rude and confused. At first I thought she was a resident until she introduced herself. Not a good impression for a manager. I didn't even ask for a tour. My mom deserves better. Would not recommend this place AT ALL!

I have been here a year at Washington Commons. I am one of the younger residents and get along very well with the community. I enjoy the activities. The community that is able to participate are wonderful. As like anyplace we live nothing is perfect.

It was 2016 when I had direct information about this place. A gentleman (who I will not name because I do not have his permission to do so, but he is an amazing US Army Vet in his 80s who is very active and sharp as a tack!) that I would do some household chores for decided he would move into this facility as he thought he might enjoy the company and he was sure he would enjoy not having to cook. He was going to keep his house and his daughter had concerns. I helped him both before, during, after his move there-- and at that time-- he was very happy. He said he really liked the menu, that they kept everything tidy and he didnt have to cook so it kept what he had to do lower-- he was able to devote his energy to what he wanted to do-- which was his garden and a card game with his vet friends! Lol He was very satisfied with this place, happy he could come and go as he pleased, and happy he was able to have company of the people his age there as well. He had been a widower for many many years. My DH and I were stationed in Germany, retiring just in time for the corona lockdown and I have not reached out to my friend but I with many places not getting credit for caring about their older folks, I am sure that my friend felt that this place did-- I can only hope that the covid crisis did not change anything.

Beautiful retirement community. It looks like you are somewhere other than Evans Georgia! Beautiful landscaping. The units are very nice. Living here seems to be a happy place for every resident I met. Staff where AWESOME as well.

My father recently moved out of Washington Commons where he lived for 6 months after a very debilitating stroke. He is now living with my brother, otherwise I am sure he would have wanted to stay at Washington Commons. We moved my father from Florida to Evans, Georgia to be closer to family so that he could be cared for properly. I cannot say enough great things about Washington Commons and how great Matt, Sarra, Elaine, Michelle, and the rest of the staff were to us and our situation. Matt immediately arranged for accommodations for my dad, and Sarra and the office staff communicated both professionally and personally with us throughout my dads stay. Their compassion for each and every resident shows. I am so grateful for Washington Commons and I am sure I speak for my father when I say, everyone is surely missed! I would recommend this independent senior living to anyone! Thank you all so much and God bless you all!

This place needs a good bit of work. Leaking irrigation system all over the area Dryers not all working for the residents to use. Other issues report from residents include plumbing

My friend moved here 4 months ago. She really likes it. Everyone is well taken care of. Only thing that I dont like is, and I dont mean to sound rude, but some of the tenants do not belong in this assisted living retirement community because they are not in their right minds and cannot take care of themselves. Its very annoying to other tenants who live there. This is not a nursing home.
