My Mom has been a resident at Lotus Village (previously Lanier Village) for over a year now. She is in the Memory Care Unit and the staff has been amazing. They are very kind and responsive to my requests. It is an extremely difficult job to care for the elderly and this staff really steps up. Agape Hospice is also incredible. I am very happy with the care my mom is receiving and comfortable with her living here. It is hard to have a family member in assisted living because you want to be sure you are leaving them in capable hands. For me, Lotus Village has met this standard and I feel my mom is in very capable hands. Thank you for giving me that peace of mind.

My wife, an Alzheimer patient, was in the memory care portion of Lanier Village for six months until she passed away. All of the staff was patient, kind and attentive of her needs during the entire time. They made special efforts to make her happy and comfortable. Of special help was Executive Director Alysia Ruocco. She was always cheerful, helpful and thoughtful. Whatever I asked, she tried to provide. I would recommend the facility to anyone.

My father lived in Lanier Village Senior Assisted Living and Memory Care – Senior Community, until he died, several weeks after his 100th birthday which was celebrated at the village with staff, family and friends. We originally selected Lanier Village because it was located near our family and because of its cozy family atmosphere. From the moment Dad arrived, the community reached out to welcome him into his new home. My father was an avid reader, and the residence has a living room with a collection of books, movies, games and puzzles. Social activities often take place here, and it contains a warm inviting fireplace. This living area was my father's favorite place to spend time except in the very warm months when he preferred the front porch. I spent a lot of time with my father at the Village. It was clear to me that under the guidance of Alyssia R., the Executive Director, a positive environment flourished. My father was supported by a team of folks that provided specialized care based on his needs. These folks included his direct caregivers, med techs, dining room and house cleaning staff, and the activity director. These folks were always helpful, upbeat and seemed genuinely happy to be working with one another at the Village. I am pleased and grateful for the assistance that was provided to my father and our family.

We have been there since November. I, in 41 years of this type of work, have never seen such caring people in memory care. If there is a problem, Alysia, who is the Director, is quick to take care of any issues that may arise. The staff are caring and loving to all residents. They are fed well and taken care of. I love each and every one of them. The activities offered are amazing. Some are not cut out for this type of work so they make sure the workers are well trained and able to handle any situation. I have seen so much there and just love it more everyday.

Moving my dad into assisted living in 2020 because of dementia was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. I was so nervous that he would drastically decline. However, with the love from the staff, activities they have all the residents involved in and cleanliness of the facility my dad is doing amazing. I live close and I am able to visit him often. I have met other residents family and everyone is so nice! I would recommend Lanier Place to anyone who is looking for a “home” for their loved one. Dad even calls it HOME. Hands down the best place for your loved one to have high quality care in a clean, loving and safe place to live.

When it was time to find a secure living environment for my elderly aunt, the family wanted a nearby facility where she could be part of a community. Lanier Place provided a safe living environment for her in their memory care unit. My family visited often and found the staff friendly and attentive. They were communicative and kept us advised of any changes in my aunt's health situation. I personally observed several social events where the residents were engaged and happy in their surroundings. If your family wants an affordable care facility with a homey feel, consider Lanier Place in your search.

I put my mother in the memory care and like everyone I am sure she hated it and me for the first month. After that she has fell in love with this place and the staff that takes care of them. This is a great place and they take very good care of their residents. I highly recommend this place if you have a parent that just needs that extra help.
