We recently relocated to Atlanta (again) after over 15 years in a different state - while looking for a home for my husband and children with a first floor mater suite for our parents, one we started the closing process we begin to interview several in home health care professionals that could provide exceptional in home care for our elderly parents. My father requires a lot more assistance than my mother, however she also needs care. We lived in Atlanta>Buckhead in 2000-2005 back then. however lots has changed. Ultimately we closed in a house in the Vinings. We were in a rush to get settled and also look for a home for our parents because my husband were not prepared to be full time care givers, also our parents wanted to stay in our home with us - or their home which way too big for the two of them and fat to many staircases for them to navigate. Long story short we eventually were referred by an old college friend to Rosewood because the director and nurses were known for top notch patient care, helping to set up the areas in our home that my parents would occupy, as well as their bedroom, bathroom, their en-suite, the kitchen and other first floor common areas. daily assistance, grocery shopping, bathing, companionship as well as mild physical therapy and occupational therapy- they even helped us select walkers, wheelchairs based on weight and width (based on our door frames!!! Needless to say we had a long list. My husband and I are our parents main caregivers but we have 2 children and we both work very demanding jobs as we own our own businesses. When our careers call us away Rosewood steps right in. The director Ms. J. Linthecome gave us the 24hour answering service number but first came into our home more than once to evaluate what we needed for our parents and how our needs would be met. The first week we both planned to be in the home 100% so we could learn the correct way to give our parents personalized care in the safest ways. After the 2 days we were at ease, so we’re our parents. They helped us order everything we needed and showed us how to use everything. We were blown away at the nurses knowledge and scheduling; as well as their warm demeanor and kind touch. They helped with everything to bathroom set up, placing pull bars around the bathroom, bedroom and hallways. They used their past experience with other patients that required similar care to our parents. I have to saw that is was truly a gift. Ms. Linthecome and the team of nurses scheduled to meet our needs are SPECTACULAR!!! I can not say enough about how comfortable our parents feel and the quick trusting relationships they have built with the nursing team. It is such a relief to know that we NOW know how to take care of them CORRECTLY & EFFICENTLY and keep them happy and healthy throughout their golden years ALSO the nurses are a great team of licensed and experienced professionals that have built a trusting and caring relationship with my family BUT MOST OF ALL, MY MOM AND MY DAD! Such a relief. I have full confidence that we will be clients of Rosewood as long as my mom and dad are with us and I am sure they will help us expand time here on earth with us - we are truly lucky to have gotten the referral as well as having such an awesome team. Thank you Rosewood & thanks VERY MUCH Ms. LINTHECOME. I hope that someone looking for in home care and realize that Rosewood will ease any doubt and prove that with them you will feel comfortable and your loved ones will be better with them than any other health care company. Dealing with an aging parent can be very difficult. You watch their independence and health fade which angers them and creates frustration and fear in you. In an effort to maintain some type of “normalcy” for them and to give yourself peace of mind you decide to have someone to come in to help out in your absence. This is Rosewood’s specialty and they are great at it. Very warm, caring, and professional team that will go above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend!!!

When I first realized I was charged with the task of looking for a home care company I was overwhelmed. Of all of the providers I met with I felt most comfortable with Rosewood Home Care. At our first meeting with the director I realized our search was over. During the initial consultation with Ms. Linthecome I realized she was very committed to making sure that all of our questions were answered and our in home needs were met. The nurses and aides that have visited my father’s home have not only being kind and caring but also personable. It was hard to help my father through this stage, but with Rosewood providing his care has been a smooth stage. We hear crazy horror stories about health care aides not providing the elderly with good care - but with Rosewood their know for sure that my father is in good, professional & caring hands.
