I waited many years to be a part of village on the Green team. When you can wake up everyday and be excited to see all your team members and residents that became a part of our family. Of course being led by an incredible leadership team is definitely a plus. And can't forget about the amazing campus full of every shade of green you can imagine. I remember asking one of the nurses if she liked working here she told me well, I hope so I've been here for over 25 years. Best place to recover. Number 1 place to live. And the only place to work.

Incredible community! From the moment you enter and see the beautiful terrain and environment you know that this is the place where youd want to retire. The new health center and the new villas look grand and beautiful, and I strongly recommend for everyone to tour this community for themselves and for their loved ones. My company, Altamonte Family Hearing, is focused on helping our seniors hear better; We travel to many independent and assisted living facilities in the area and I truly feel that Village on the Green is a step above all the rest.

As a relative of long-time residents, I can tell you VOTG and parent company LifeSpace were horrible in dealing with their final years. When one of them needed full time care, she was put on a waiting list...for months! During that waiting time, she had a major fall, breaking her Femur, and fractured vertebrae and required a hip replacement. Her fall and long-term injury would have been prevented if she had gotten full time care when requested. She never fully recovered from the fall and they denied she even fell! There were missed medications by VOTG, high turnover, and some caregivers spent hours on their home phone making toll calls to friends instead of doing their job. They even disputed our trustee POA for health care disclosures and decisions. VOTG left our unit empty and unpresentable for 2 years before cleaning and renovating it for sale. To this day VOTG has not returned one penny of the equity membership fee my relatives paid in 1994. This is well over 2 YEARS since their condo was surrendered in March 2018. Dont let this happen to you! Your estate and loved ones may be in limbo and in the courts for years after your passing fighting for your estate and VOTG, Lifespace will drag it out as long as possible without paying anything.

Spectacular surroundings in an urban setting - wetlands adjacent, wildlife abounds, and everything is so conveniently nearby. Dining is fabulous and activities are available nonstop. Accommodations very roomy, too. New state-of-the-art Health Center under construction to replace existing.

I highly recommend the village on the green! My mom spent 2 weeks in the nursing home recently for short-term rehab from full knee replacement surgery and she was very well taken care of by the staff. She was originally sent to another facility in a Lake Mary but after the poor treatment by the staff there and her falling and trip to the ER I sought out Village on the Green to get her transferred there based on excellent government reviews. Angie in admissions was so helpful and caring and put her in line for the next open bed. My moms health and recovery progressed well here and she enjoyed the variety and quality of the meals. I was there every day to visit with her and observed that the staff was kind and caring to the patients. it is a nice building and they allow pets to visit. I would definitely have my mom stay here again if necessary and recommend it for those needing care.

This is a really nice place for senior citizens to live, gather and get to know one another! At Village on the green there is a very large livingroom where along of the seniors gather for entertainment that Village on the green provides for them at least twice a day!!! Village on the green also provides activities for the seniors often each day!!! Village on the green also provides very nice hot meals for the seniors. C.N.A.s and Doctors and nurses provide the seniors with their healthcare needs and also Village on the green provides transportation for their patients! Overall: I believe that the staff at Village on the green are really good at their job and they honestly care about the patients and thats important!!!!!!! Because if you dont care then it just a job. The staff at Village on the green get involved in the entertainment and they get the patients involved too! The entertainment is great and the way handle it! I do NOT believe that Village on the green should provide the patients with alcoholic drinks (even if the Doctor has said that its ok) though. The meals are Excellent!!!!!! The activities are great!!! This is an amazing place! I would just love it if my mom could stay here at Village on the green on a permanent basis, she is SO Happy here. Whenever I come to visit my mom I always find her smiling and Happy out in the livingroom just talking with other patients and really enjoying herself! I can tell that my mom is truly Happy being here. Thank you all Village on the green staff!

My Aunt is having rehabilitation there and everybody is so nice I had lunch with her in the cafeteria and even the food was excellent She is getting the best care there I am so happy she is in a place that have people that work there that really care

The staff is the best you could ever want. They are caring, thoughtful and the never stop trying to help the residents. The food is excellent, the building is excellent, the staff is excellent.

My father in law was admitted for rehab on three occasions and stayed on for 10 months after the last time due to not being able to return home right away. The rehab department is great and really pushes for results. The food is wonderful, with a variety of choices every day instead of the usual take it or leave it at most nursing homes. Who else has salmon, shrimp and prime rib on the menu? The staff is caring and attentive and spoiled him rotten. The activities department plans outings and a large variety of activities above and beyond the standard of bingo. They even have happy hour, each evening, with alcohol available and music. Village on the Green is the best kept secret in the Orlando area and isnt even the most expensive. If you need to go for rehab., dont look anywhere else. They are a five star, gold seal facility. Check them out.
