We just moved my dad into the Memory care at Watercrest and are very happy with the facility and staff! My mom and I met the new Director and the Executive Director and we’re very impressed with the changes that they are making. Phil and I have been at Elan Buena Vista Independent Living for about six weeks. All but one of those weeks have been spent mostly in our apartment because of COVID-19. Everyone has been vaccinated now with the two doses, so hopefully thatll take care of the lock down. Tomorrow everything opens back up. Weve been having all our meals delivered to us, which is quite nice, but itll be fun to socialize now at mealtime in the beautiful dining room. There are loads of activities right here, as well as all the regular rec center offerings we know and love. We can choose to be as involved as wed like. In fact, we feel just like we felt 20 years ago when we moved to The Villages. This is just a smaller, more exclusive Disneyland for adults, inside the huge Disneyland for adults. I know weve just moved in, but we know we love it here. It was definitely the right move at the right time for us. We enjoy luxury cruises. This feels exactly like a luxury cruise to us. Our apartment is beautiful with so much sunlight. The food is excellent and varied and homemade. The staff goes out of their way to be gracious and helpful. Everything is done for us, and everything is included in the one monthly rental. Everything! Home ownership was great, but this is perfect for us at this stage in our lives. The freedom this allows is awesome.

Thanks to the kind folks at Elan Buena Vista, we know our Mom is in great hands. Every day we see her enjoying a myriad of activities - always with a big smile on her face. (We also have some evidence that she is loving the food!!) But today the EBV team went above and beyond. Mom needed assistance with navigating a challenging phone call (press one, two, nine, six if ....) and help was on its way. The issue was resolved with grace and kindness. Elan style. So pleased to know Mom is such a wonderful place!

Been living here for almost a full year now and like it very much. Our apartment is clean, well lit, and extremely comfortable. The food is usually very good---I eat three meals a day here---and the service is also good. Sold our house in The Villages before coming here to live and it was a wise decision. No more monthly bills, housekeeping chores, and no more cooking either. I give it high marks!

My friend lives here. She is so happy with the staff and her new home. She wouldnt have it any other way! I have visited her a few times and wow what a pretty community.

My grandparents have lived at Elan in the assited living since May 2018. My grandfather passed away in October and my grandmother needed to move to memory care. I cannot say enough about the staff of Elan during this time. They were available to us 24, 7 and did EVERYTHING they could during this time to help our family- from moving my grandmothers furniture, having a table set for all of us for each meal, texting and calling just to check in, and even arranging for a memorial service to take place right at the facility. If you are looking for a place that will treat your loved one like family, please consider Elan.

Our loved one is in the memory care unit and we have nothing but praise for the staff and their care of all occupants. It is not an easy transition for all involved but we feel no anxiety when we leave after a visit. Plus the food is awesome. We love taking our mom out to the main dining area. She feels she is in a restaurant- choices are not overwhelming for a person in her position and always delicious. The staff are so attentive and talk to all the residents like they are important. The service is exceptional. Highly recommend Elan Buena Vista

My husband and I came to visit, check on my aunt and uncle a few weeks ago for two weeks. They have enjoyed living in The Villages for many many years. They are now moving into the more challenging times in their lives as we all will some day. We were concerned about my aunt and how my uncle could care for her long term by himself when their caregiver was not there. My uncle and I decided to check out some Memory Care, Assisted Living Resorts. Honestly, all of them had their qualities, but Elan Buena Vista proved to be the place to be. The staff, the rooms, the activities, the cleanliness, the hotel, resort feeling........the list goes on and on. Needless to say, my aunt is now there and although it has only been a week, we see a difference in her alertness, her smile and her conversation. I realize some things will probably never get back to the good ole days, but quality of life and purposeful and meaningful life means so much to me and my family! Thank you, Denise Heise, and your staff for welcoming my aunt (and uncle) into your lives. Living in Wisconsin is difficult for me as I cannot be there every day checking on her. Thank you for helping my aunt rekindle things in her life that she has not thought about for a very long time. Cant wait until our next visit to see in person how well she is doing!!!!!
