Deciding on moving a loved one to a facility is never easy. However, making Inspired Living my Mom’s home was the best choice. Their staff is fantastic, and the facility is beautiful and very well maintained. She is delighted there, and so are we.

Not one to write many reviews, but I am glad we decided to have my father live in the memory care at Inspired Living in Royal Palm Beach. A very difficult decision it was to make initially researching and touring 6 different facilities. Immediate impression that was notable is that the grounds are cared for, interior building and residential areas are open and clean, the staff friendly and the residents were also looking cared for and smiles and conversations were a part of walking through.In my father's circumstance, he wasn't eating or speaking much as became normal in the months before, there was a decline in those factors among others which led to the difficult decision.Within a couple of weeks he was more alert and smiling. Interacting more than he had in nearly a year. This and the fact he actually was gaining a few pounds and needing some additional larger pants was a sign he was enjoying the food as well. The staff has been attentive and do a hard job with a good attitude and new friends, who are residents at the facility have welcomed my dad. When I ask if he is happy, he has continually said "I am".In your search, would not leave this facility out of your consideration for your loved one.

My mother has been living at Inspired Living Of Royal Palm Beach for 16 months. She was the fourth person to move into their memory care community when they opened in December 2020. She had been living in another community for 2 1/2 years and I could never describe the difference between that community and Inspired Living Of Royal Palm Beach. The level of care for both assisted living residents and memory care residents is outstanding. Having my mom here all this time has enabled me to meet many other families and most feel as I do. Most of the families that I meet either visit occasionally or more often as their schedule allows. They come in at all times, anytime, as you certainly can come and go as you wish to visit your loved one. They sit,they visit,they have breakfast or lunch or dinner or snacks with their loved ones. The care staff is absolutely amazing and they love the residents. The directors are great and the health and wellness director is on top of her game as well as the entire staff. Everyone is professional and the food is amazing. Is any one company in life going to be 150% perfect every day? Of course not, but they are always there for you to go to speak to, email to, sit down and vent to, whatever you need. Today’s world is a struggle for most people to live their day-to-day life without some form of stress especially when you have a loved one that needs assistance or is suffering from dementia. As we all know today, misinformation is rampant so take what you read with a grain of salt. It’s not always what it seems. The community’s motto is “we aim to be 1% better every day” and I find that to be true. If you are looking for a place to possibly bring your loved one, go in anytime and talk to them. My precious Mom would not be here if she wasn’t getting great care.

Uninspired Living Seeing my father deteriorate from dementia right before my eyes has been extremely difficult for me and my family. We tried our best to take care of him on our own but unfortunately, it was too much, which is why we looked for help and respite by placing him in an assisted living facility in this case Inspired Living. One of the selling points that got my attention was their slogan “We take care of moms and dads”. This really resonated with me because it made me believe that they based their care off this principle which unfortunately we found out wasn’t the case. Their brand-new facility is impressive and nice which made the transition for my father into assisted living easy, however that’s where the positive experience ended for us. I felt a minor level of anxiety when we walked in with him, and we were greeted with a warm welcome, red carpet, and bubbles only to be given the key to his room and that’s it. There was never an onboarding process to discuss his plan of care. When it came to actual care, we were given little to no support, communication, or guidance on how to manage my father. There were times when we were called by the facility to help resolve an issue with him, which confused us considering that we were paying them to not only care for my father but to provide us respite from the stresses of taking care of someone with dementia so we can focus on living our own lives. We had several meetings with then Executive Director Harold Dean, and Head Nurse Tonya asking them to conduct a complete health screening for my father so we can obtain a baseline on his health. We were even asked if we wanted him to receive the covid booster and flu shot, which we agreed to both, only to find out that they didn’t end up giving either to them because apparently, they didn’t have his Covid vaccine card on file. Which isn’t a requirement to give him at least the Flu shot! We also had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with their Nurse Practitioner, Susan Conley, who to this day I am amazed that she’s even allowed to be responsible for the care of elderly people considering her ineptitude and lack of professionalism. It took us about 2 months after my father moved into Inspired for us to learn that the reason why they hadn’t given my father a health checkup was that they weren’t able to communicate with him! Rather than try and reach out to me of the rest of my family to see if we could help facilitate the communication, she said that she didn’t reach out because she assumed we were a Spanish-speaking family considering that my dad isn’t fluent in English. As you can tell from this review I am well versed in English. It took several painstaking calls with Susan Conley for us to have her perform some form of thorough medical assessment, and even then, it was done in a very subpar manner. Unfortunately, my father deteriorated rather quickly and had to be moved into Memory Care considering that he was eloping. They assured us that in memory care my father would receive more attention and redirection when the difference from the assisted living facility section is that it’s locked. If it weren’t for the private nurses that we had to pay ourselves for to supplement for their lack of care, my father would have probably been neglected, underfed, and have his clothing uncleaned for days on end. They gave him Spaghetti and Meatballs when he was sick for covid, I had to fight and ask multiple times for them to give him soup!!!!! Even the caretaker that we paid to care for him asked several times and they didn’t respond to such a simple request. Who eats spaghetti and meatballs when they’re sick????? Our only saving grace during my father’s stay at Inspired were Nurse Dolores, Lisa, and Debbie from the front desk, and Raul the maintenance man for showing some form of empathy and caring during my father’s time at Inspired Living and the reason why I’m giving Inspired Living 2 stars rather than 1. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the staff. To sum it all up, the stress of dealing with the Inspired Living staff was more traumatizing than seeing my father dealing with his dementia. I hope and pray that other families don’t have to go through this kind of treatment.

Once you sign all the required documents and make a hefty payment, that's where the warm friendliness halts. Inspired Living prides themselves on "taking care of moms and dads" our experience was quite the opposite. The team is not knowledgeable enough to think critically to provide proper care for residents with cognitive impairment, they should just be an assisted living facility. The in house medical team lacks empathy and understanding of the struggle it is to watch your loved one deteriorate from dementia. Instead of aiding us in making medical decisions for my father in law, the nurse practitioner [Name Removed], made every decision very difficult, not only did she assume we did not speak English as a Spanish family but also spoke down to us stating "I do not have the time to explain the medical knowledge as to why we don't retest." Being in the medical field myself it is our duty to educate our patients so that they have the knowledge to make medical decisions regarding their health. Our saving grace medically speaking was [Name Removed] the psychiatrist, who took the time to speak with my fiancé about his fathers care and the next steps in regards to his medication adjustments. He was always available to answer any of our concerns or questions. Even when we requested to have a meeting with all members of the care team he was the only one who responded and was willing to provided us with his availability. [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] were the only two people at the front desk who always greeted us in a friendly and positive manner. However, we had a different experience with [Name Removed]. He is rude both over the phone and in person and seems bothered to be inconvenienced by any questions or help when we needed to be let into the memory care side. His demeanor does not belong in a place of hospitality. The reason I gave Inspired Living 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the nurses that actually cared about who they took care of, Nurse [Name Removed] and Nurse [Name Removed], they restored our faith in humanity. They always went above and beyond to inform us and keep us updated. However, the head nurse Tonya, was very difficult to discern wether she really cared for residents or not. Upon admitting my father in law to Inspired Living we requested that he receive both the covid booster and the flu vaccine when we were informed that the state nurses were coming to the facility. He received neither with the excuse that they didn't have his vaccine card although it's common knowledge that a vaccine card is not needed to receive the flu vaccine and receiving a covid booster far outweighs having a booster card or not. My father in law contracted covid this past January while in the facility. To be honest I could write a novel about Inspired Living and the many reasons and experiences why not to place your loved one here especially within Memory Care. It is already difficult to watch your loved one deteriorate progressively but what is worse is the mistreatment and lack of care and respect given, he deserved better as an elder who contributed to society. Inspired Living should be ashamed and close their doors and consider re training the staff, in effective communication, empathy, policies and procedures and appropriate memory and medical care. Also they need to do some internal reflection as to why they got into the business of "caring" for moms and dads because currently they only care about your mom and dads money.

We moved our loved one in mid September of 2021.on that day, we were greeted by some of the residents, Christy and Tonya.Since then she has settled in great.Loves the variety of activities.Chef Evelyn is amazing, she loves the variety of food choices everyday. My loved is doing amazingly, I would highly recommend this facility if you looking for a place for your loved one.

My mother was in an assisted living facility for 2 1, 2 years when I found Inspired Living at Royal Palm Beach. I first met Christy who was incredibly informative, understanding, a great listener and truly helped to guide me into memory care for my mom even though they offer both. It was the right decision.Thank you Christy ! The health, wellness director Tonya helped me and mom get through the transition and really took over helping me with hospice and paperwork, Thank you Tonya !The nurses and care partners who care for the residents are also extraordinary !!!Nurses Tonya, Malissa, Reggie, Linda and Judy , you are all so incredible, Thank you so much !!!Care partners Rebecca, Audrey, Dona, Irlande and Necia, What can I possibly say to all of you that take care of my mom and these residents who suffer with this heartbreaking affliction. What a wonderful community! I recently moved my mother into Inspired Living Royal Palm Beach after my father lost his battle with stomach cancer. My mother suffers from Alzheimers, and in the midst of such heartache, she is adjusting so well and everyone at the community has gone above and beyond to help us and ease her transition. The staff is friendly, attentive, and caring, and the building itself is marvelous. Priceless peace of mind knowing she is being so well cared for!

My name is Mary Schiltz, and I am a Realtor. Often time I find myself helping someone transition from their home into assisted living.... so I have seen a few....but Inspired Living in Royal Palm, puts them all to shame. I visited again yesterday and found myself chatting with some of the staff...they are all so personable. I talked to Christy and Bina... I think they are the directors and Tayna is the director of health... Rose was behind the desk and was nice enough to put a list together because I certainly didnt want to leave anybody out... although I dont know them all, but these are a few that I have run into on a regular. I want to take Evelyn, the Chef home with me... she is awesome... but I would eat way too good! And you cant help but smile at Jill, the activities director... she really must love her job and it shows! Melissa was the nice voice on the phone tonight when I called and Eric was keeping busy helping someone. AND I havent even mentioned the facility!!! OMG you must stop by and see it for yourself! It is fabulous and it has everything imaginable! Seriously!!! Stop in and say Hi!

I had the pleasure of touring Inspired Living in Royal Palm Beach. Watching the progression of the construction and now to see residents moving into the resort-style community is amazing. I had a wonderful tour of inspired living Royal Palm. Christy showed me all around the gorgeous building. It is welcoming and warm with so many wonderful places for the residents to casually gather with friends and family. The models were gorgeous and well though out for resident needs. The memory care layout is outstanding!! Id highly recommend this fabulous building!

My mom and I toured Inspired Living with Christy Zillmer, looking for my aunt with dementia. We were very impressed with the facility and friendly staff! Light and airy everywhere we walked, making it feel very spacious, and a lot of nice gathering , activity areas for residents, including the beautiful courtyard and garden. The memory care resident area felt very safe and secure, we left feeling confident that my aunt would be well cared for here!

The building is brand new, designed wonderfully for social activities as well as for small private gatherings. The rooms are fantastic, spaced correctly to allow residents to bring their own furniture, belongings and sentimental items. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Cant say more... The building is soon to open and looks like an amazing place to call home.

I just visited Inspired Living as a proxy for myself in that I am in the twilight of my years. I was quite impressed with what I saw. Christy Zillmer showed me around. I went to visit the community for their Happy Hour open house to see the community and meet the team. I loved the feel of the community and the staff was super friendly and inviting. The grounds, apartments, and common areas were stunning, well-thought out, and easily maneuverable. Such a beautiful community and an amazing staff.
