when the decision was made to move my mom, Camille to assisted living memory care because of dementia, it was a very difficult one for me. Since she has been at the Retreat, she has received nothing but excellent love and care. all the caretakers know who I am when I come to visit her and they treat us all like family. I can't ask for more than that. if your loved one needs memory Care, do not hesitate to come to the Retreat. thank you for all you do

My Dad has been a resident for over 4 years now. The staff is caring and friendly and they do their best to take care of all the residents. They provide daily activities, games, exercise, and trips to nearby parks and other destinations, and under normal conditions have musical guests, animal interaction, and even karaoke.

Having two parents in various assisted living homes for the last 10+ years, I feel like I have seen it all. The Retreat, by far, is the absolute best place I have ever found for my mom. I wish I would have found it sooner! The staff should receive some kind of award, like an Emmy or Grammy for ALFs! Its like night and day....previous place Mom sat in a room, alone, all day staring at a tv. Never participated in activities. Missed meals. So many problems. When we moved her to the Retreat, she blossomed and its like shes HOME. She loves it. She has so many friends and is involved in everything! This is a family, not a facility. THANK YOU Caryn, Karen, and all of the staff that are true heroes.

My mom moved into The Retreat at Port Orange today. Thank you Julie and all the care givers that have welcomed Rae already today. Everyone has been truly helpful and I know mom will be well taken care of.

My mother was at this retreat for only 7 weeks before she passed away from vascular dementia. We found this place to be perfect for my mother. We found this facility extremely clean, very well maintained inside and out. The food was exquisite. The activities stimulating and fun. The staff is caring, understanding and every employee gave us 110%. Everyone always worked together as a team. I cannot praise this place enough and highly recommend it. I would place another loved one there without hesitation. By far the best one Ive visited in the area. Sincere thanks to Julie, Katie, Karen, Corrine, Carol, Terri, Kim, Susan, Amir and all the caring night staff.

Grace Manor is a wonderful place! I would recommend it to anyone. It always smells so fresh and clean. The care staff is amazing and knows each and every resident so well. The activities they have are awesome. I epically like the pet therapy they have every Friday morning. There is no better therapy then playing with kittens!

As an employee I recommend the retreat to any family who is looking for a safe , compassionate place for their loved one where the staff treats each resident with the dignity and respect that they deserve, giving them the love and compassion as if they were our own family. We have a community that not only provides the basic needs of your loved ones but we strive to go above and behond by making sure we provide excellent activities to keep them engaged and busy, Which in return keeps them socializing with others and allows them to live life to its fullest . Grace Manor is such a wonderful, inviting community. The staff are always friendly and helpful and it really feels like home. They are so supportive of the families and even have a Dementia Support Group once a month. I love all of the fun activities and events the residents can participate in. The food is delicious and the community is clean and smells fresh. Grace Manor is so alive you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in the door.

Best place around! Staff ratio to patients is very good. The employees are so caring. Seems like every employee was hand picked perfectly for their positions. They all work closely together to make the place run smoothly. The retreat is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Its a very clean facility. The food is excellent also. I give this retreat an A+. Even though my mom missed home, she found it very enjoyable. They definitely all gave us 110%.

I love my job!! I take care of our residents as if they were my mom or dad. I want them to feel the love of their children through me. I give them hugs every day and tell them how much I love being there for them. They inspire me to be all I can in life.

I love working at Grace Manor Port Orange have been working there since oct 2016, and wouldnt leave for nothing I love the residents and the staff is growing and we have a very long lasting care team . The managers are tops in my book always there if you need the , dinning staff is awesome great food always on time , activities are fun out going entertainment is a blast . If you want yr love one to be at home you need them to come live with Us cause our family is home .

My Mother is so happy at Grace Manor. The staff and director have been wonderful to her. She came out of a nursing home that said there was no hope for her. Now she has friends is active and enjoying life again. Thank You Grace Manor!!
