The decision to move an elderly parent to an assisted living facility is not an easy one. There are so many things to consider and likely a lot of emotions involved. When my wife and I first connected with Rick Drew via phone we could already tell he was kind and thoughtful. We also learned he was quite patient as we had to deal with some legal issues before the move could happen, which took a couple of months. Once we visited the property, we met Rick and his staff. Rick is a one-of-a-kind-special-man for sure. His warmth and friendliness are contagious. Indi, who is the moving coordinator, is gentle and accommodating. The nursing staff seemed content to be there, they smiled and greeted everyone who passed them by. The grounds at Pacifica at Forest Trace are truly magical. They make you feel like you are in a resort. The trees are mature, there are walking paths, a pool, a theater and many more amenities. During our visit we had the opportunity to speak with many residents who shared that they are happy to live there. It is possible that their 2 hour daily Happy Hour has something to do with their happiness level. 😉 The day we moved my father in, we felt he was welcomed with open arms. He received several visitors (staff) who came by to introduce themselves and who seemed committed to assisting him get settled into a new routine quickly yet smoothly... 88 year olds don't tend to love change. Leaving that day, we experienced a sense of calm, that my dad was in good and capable hands.

This is a very nice facility for elderly people who need extra care that cannot be provided by family members. For a monthly fee they provide two meals per day. They clean the apartment every week and provide entertainment and activities to keep your family member busy and entertained. There’s always someone at the desk to answer your phone call if you can’t get a hold of your family member. The facility is very clean and situated on beautiful grounds with lots of shady trees. Beautiful pool for swimming and keeping active. Lots of activities. If the resident doesn’t drive they have weekly trips to the stores. Overall very nice place for an elderly person to live out the rest of their years without the care of meal preparation or house keepin

I am so grateful my family found Forest Trace - we could not be happier that our parents are living in this community. There is a vibrant group of residents that have welcomed my parents with open arms and have helped them feel comfortable and connected. I can’t say enough good things about Rick in answering all our questions; addressing all our concerns and helping make this transition go smoothly from their apartment, being on their own, to moving into independent living at Forest Trace. The staff are wonderful. Really, everyone we have interacted with at FT from the Executive Director down, really does care about and take pride in creating an excellent environment for the residents. And it is obvious; it’s working! If you are considering an option for independent living, you owe it to yourself to contact Rick and request a tour.

My 95 year old parents moved in to assisted living and have been very happy with everything offered. Diana and Indi made the whole process of moving in very easy and have assisted with all the questions I have had. The grounds are beautiful, private, and quiet. All the facilities are clean, and the staff has been very attentive. There are various activities all day long and dining is like being in a restaurant with several selections. The apartments are spacious and well kept. Overall, Pacifica Forest Trace has been a great choice.

When my sister and I arrived at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace looking for an ALF-Memory Care for our mother, we were feeling overwhelmed & sad. Having to place a loved one in the care of others is always a very hard decision and process. Rick Drew is the sales and community director who met with us and I have to say that he is so kind and was so understanding of our situation. I can't say enough good things about him. He empathized with what we were going through and took the time to listen to us and to what we needed. Pacifica Forest Trace is a beautiful place. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, and the facilities are extremely nice. The rooms/apartments in the memory care area are also very spacious and comfortable. However, what really sold us in making the decision to place our mother there was the care we received from Rick. He made the process so much easier and was always available to answer the tons of questions we had. Our mother has only been there almost a month, but so far we feel that we made the right decision in placing her there. We feel she is well cared for and in a comfortable place where she can feel at home. Even now, whenever we have any questions, we still contact Rick even though he might not be the person in the position to answer, and he happily forwards our request to the correct person and makes sure we get our answers. The staff helping with our mother also seem caring and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Pacifica Forest Trace if you are looking for an Assisted Living Facility for a loved one.

As a recent retiree and new Floridian, I am excited and thrilled with my decision to move to Pacifica Forest Trace. The buildings and grounds are beautiful. My newly renovated two bedroom apartment is gorgeous. All of the executives and staff are superior. The cuisine is luscious and offers a tremendous selection for the individual palates. Before Covid 19, there were non-stop activiities all day and after dinner. The Health Department is not only conveniently located in my building but the Doctors, Nurses and staff are professional and compassionate. Even though I did not know one person when I moved here, I now have many new friends and meet more people everyday. I am extremely happy here and rate Pacifica Forest Trace 10 Star!!!!

We just took my mother in law here and spent some time with Robin who explained and answered all our questions. The place is amazing. It is set in a beautifully landscaped forrest with so many amenities. We looked at both the one and two bedroom apartments which were recently renovated including all new appliances. They were both huge, bright, and the floor plans where obviously setup for safe senior accessibility. We were very impressed.

We have a lot of activities here in Pacifica. Just about every day there's something going on. So far so good. I have a 1-bedroom apartment, with a little kitchen, a refrigerator, lot of cabinets, a nice living room and a beautiful bathroom. We also have a washer and dryer and a cabinet where you can keep food. I have been here for almost a year. You get your meals, you don't pay any bills, so I think the value is very good.

My parents reside in Florida and my brother and I live up north. My brother and I are hoping my parents will relocate to Forest Trace to live in a beautiful community with amazing support. We have toured Forest Trace twice with Michelle. The facilities were clean and beautiful. Michelle arranged for my parents to have a weekend stay to see if the community was a good "fit" for them. They were paired with other members of the community for meals and activities. My mom reported that the residents they met were friendly, helpful and all enjoyed life at Forest Trace. Meals were excellent and the staff was kind and helpful. We are encouraging our parents to relocate to Forest Trace soon.

Recently, we decided to move my parents to an Independent living facility. We interviewed and inspected many of the facilities within the area and decided on Pacifica Forest Trace. Interestingly, it was an easy decision. Dealing initially with Michelle and then with Indi, the process couldn't have been smoother. From the moment we first set foot in the facility to the actual move in date, we were impressed every step of the way. Indi, doesn't understand the word "no" and could not have been more accommodating for my parents. She truly went above and beyond every step of the process. My parents call me daily to tell me just how much they enjoy their new residence, how great the food is and just how special every member of the Pacifica team really is. What initially was thought to be a dreaded experience, turned out to be one of the smartest decisions we have made. One word comes to mind when I think about Pacifica Forest Trace and that's "WOW"!

My father was always treated with the respect and dignity that he deserved. The members of the staff have been wonderful and caring to my family as well. I just saw the come to Walmart. I was immediately compelled to tell you what an amazing driver! He got out an extra step and took the time to help everyone off individually! He stayed and made sure they were all OK and ready for there adventure in Walmart. You could actually feel the love, as far as treatment of the facility, i would recommend this place!

My parents had an excellent experience for the 6 months that they lived at Pacifica Forest Trace. The facility and grounds are very nice, the staff is terrific, and the director, Campbell Epps, went out of his way to accommodate my parents in a variety of challenging situations. It was also well priced in comparison with other comparable facilities. I recommend it without hesitation.

We just had an amazing Passover Seder here at Pacifica Forest Trace. The Cantor conducted a wonderful heartfelt service. The meal was exquisite and the wait staff was on point. We must of had at least 100 family members as guest. It felt like home. I am so proud to be here!

No place is perfect...but this is a great place for my Mom...she is close by to my husband and me...food is great...ok some nights are better than others..people are pleasant...staff is great...of course some better than others...NO PLACE IS PERFECT....it is BEAUTIFUL...well kept and clean...yes, some days are not perfect but then what is ???...You can visit the other "places" and I know that you will come back here...you have everything you could possibly need and want..I've checked many other places...so this is the PLACE....<3

Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace is wonderful. The dining room is gorgeous. The food is excellent. The facilities are lovely. The apartment is beautiful. I have nothing bad to say about it. It is more expensive than the others, but I feel it is worth it. The activities are great. They have a lot of entertainment; every night is something else. They're building a new theater, and the pool is beautiful. They have exercise classes, lectures, and local trips. There's so much there. It is like being on a cruise without the water.

The Executive Director Cambell Epes set the tone and his staff followed suit. There was plenty of great food and entertainment throughout. They had a million things for them to do. They served breakfast and dinner. The staff was very knowledgeable, personable, and answered all our questions. They had very nice people there. It was clean and pretty well kept. They had some renovations done for improvements.

I can't say enough about the employees at Pacifica. They are fantastic! My sister and I moved my 87 year old , very active, mother in last week. Indi was fabulous helping us every step of the way from giving free dinners to helping us find charities to haul away all the stuff mom brought but didn't need. She even set my mom up in bridge games and found her gals to eat dinner with. Indi sent up Ian to hang all mom's painting and set up her TV's. He was wonderful and spent a lot of time making sure everything was just right. Malcolm at the front desk always had a smile for us and was very helpful whether it was finding a Chinese restaurant that delivers or a ride to the airport. My mom loves happy hour where the bartender remembers the drinks you order. The facility is well maintained, the staff wonderful, the food very good and lots of activities to keep you busy. They also keep a careful watch on the residence and are very quick to respond if there is a medical problem. They even provided transportation for my mom to have a medical procedure when none of her friends could drive her. We are so happy that my Mom moved in to The Pacifica. She's safe, well cared for and has tons of things to keep her busy. I highly recommend this facility.

Forest Trace was very well-maintained. It seemed like there were a lot of activities; it would be very pleasant. It's probably beyond my mother's price range, but it was very nice. They have current events where they discuss the news, and they have a book group. They also have card games and board games, and they have transportation. There are some doctors there, but I think the residents have to change some of their doctors to local doctors if they live far away. The staff was very attentive and interested in my mother's condition and whether or not her needs would be met there. So they obviously were not just accepting everyone. They want specifics about what her needs and abilities were.

I would say that Pacifica Forest Trace rates near the top of the list in senior housing. The facility grounds are amazing, with a view that takes your breath away when you drive on the property. The residents are happy, and appreciate the opportunity to live here. As for the Staffing, Pacifica staff are treated equally with other facilities of the same size. They have a good handle on what is in the market and they try to stay within the competitive market. I have always said that I would never work in a place where I wouldnt want my own parents to live. I am proud to say that I would love to have my parents live at Pacifica Forest Trace, if they were here.

Wonderfully organized! The staff is second to none: courteous, caring, compassionate. The grounds are gorgeous and you can get entranced in the gorgeous gardens! The living, dining and common areas are simply beautiful! If it wasn't enough they create such a great living area, they then have an entertainment area that is run by a WORLD CLASS entertainer herself, Sandy Warren. Her productions are on par with Broadway and Las Vegas!

I love Pacifica Forest Trace. I have been here for 3 years and I have no complaints. The entertainment is wonderful. The people here are very nice. I hope I will be a Resident here for many many more years. I also met a wonderful woman here and we have been together for 2 1-2 years. I looked at 10 other Independent Living Communities before moving here. I decided Pacifica Forest Trace was the best of all. I highly recommend it.
