I can honestly say I enjoy going to work everyday. It's like a breath of fresh air! The staff are phenomenal and truly care about the residents and families they serve. It feels like home! I love actually being able to have the time to spend just talking and listening to the people I care for and meeting their needs. It's what I went into nursing for. Healthcare has become some commercialized, but here I feel like I truly can put my heart into my work and really take care of the whole person, the way nursing should be.

Our mother moved to the Cottage five months ago. It is a small, warm and inclusive community of staff and residents where interpersonal relationships are nurtured and respected. Very clean, spacious and very well maintained building and grounds. Good nutritious food. Activities for all, Mom likes best the singer they bring in, any party or picnic and any group outing to anywhere.The staff are exceptional, very caring and have gone the extra mile to help Mom feel comfortable. We have also taken much care to make her room fresh, cheerful and bright. She has big windows and a pretty chair to sit in. The staff have been very responsive to our every concern large or small and have been able to care for Mom on a very personal level. They have amazing dedication and wisdom to communicate with her and the other residents. The staff take the time to learn and understand the residents, their lives, history and interests. I have worked at the Cottage for almost 5 years and it honestly is one of the best places to work. Our team works together to be the best we can be for all of our residents. I plan on furthering my education with the help and support of The Cottage. There really is no better place to work/live. I highly recommend!

There was a core team throughout the past 5 years while our parents were living there ( both downstairs and upstairs!) who were always kind and compassionate to both our parents as well as our family! From the front desk ( Carole and Trudy) to the kitchen-wait staff to the nurses and CNAs and managers, we cannot say enough about these individuals! Their dedication and energy was remarkable .... we were very thankful that our choice for a senior living location for our parents was the perfect fit! We would highly recommend this residence!

We recently move my mom from Florida. I recently saw her and left with a wonderful feeling. The staff is outstanding. I have not seen my mom this happy in 1 1-2 years.

The entire experience at Emeritus has been positive. My aunt has been warmly welcomed and cared for by the entire staff, from the concierges to the maintenance staff, the nursing personnel, dining staff, and aides. The administration is always available to answer any questions. I'm particularly impressed with the way the residents are treated with respect and seem content. I hope to see my aunt become involved with her neighbors and participate in the activities. I see Emeritus as a place to age with dignity.
