My family had the most wonderful experience with Ocean Meadow taking care of our mother. The staff is phenomenal, knowing all the residents names and also those of their families. They were professional and loving. They go the extra mile to make sure that the families are involved in their loved ones care and life.

I was so touched recently by a conversation had with Erin Soucy and how she spoke of her "calling"- not job. You can't ask for more than that. How special is all that these folks do.

We were recommended to the Shoreline of Clinton for our aunt who is 91 and is diagnosed with Dementia. She was not allowed to return to her former residential living facility without one on one care due to her debilitating anxiety. We had been through a very stressful experience with this facility with them having transferred our aunt between facilities without consulting the family and not responding to phone calls from us regarding our aunts care. When we walked into the Shoreline, we were immediately struck by how bright and cheerful it was. It looked like a home rather than a nursing home. It even smelled like fresh baked cookie! We were very optimistic. Everyone there was very friendly but what struck us is how they were trying to accommodate each person. We felt like our aunt would be able to get quality care in a homey environment even though her anxiety had been preventing her from feeling much happiness for the past year. The previous facility had never been able to find a way to alleviate her anxiety through counseling or medications. We felt like the Shoreline was a place filled with people who cared and would try to find things that might make her happy. She as there for a few weeks and her anxious behaviors had begun to escalate and we were anticipating that she would need one on one care as was required at the other assisted living facility for seniors with dementia; or worse we would be forced to find yet another facility for her care. This was not at all the case. The nursing staff started discussing her increasing care needs at their daily meetings. They finally found a prescription regiment that has given her peace and brought her back to more like herself than she has been in a long time. We were happy to find out that as we had expected, she did not need 24 hour 1:1 care, but just a place that would go the extra steps for their patients to bring grace and comfort during the last phase of their lives. Every time we call to check on how she is doing, whoever answers the phone knows how shes doing, been doing. The small size helps them to have exceptional care. This is a very special place and we are very grateful to have found it. We feel like this will be a peaceful place for her. Lauren

I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with this facility. It is bright and clean, but there is more to it than how it looks. Mom can be a handful, as she is straddling the line between remembering and forgetting, which can be very frustrating for her. Everyone here has bent over backwards to keep her happy and engaged. The nursing staff, the aids, the recreation staff and even the chef have gone out of their way to sit with Mom, involve her in activities, and take her for walks. The receptionists are friendly and welcoming. Im sure there are others who I am forgetting at the moment. The medical staff, the behavioral team and the nursing staff meet frequently to discuss medications and plans of care, and they are happy to take phone calls to discuss our questions or concerns. They also continually seek our input, asking about important events and aspects of Moms life, so that they can direct their interactions with her in ways that make her feel comfortable. I consider the staff here to be saints, and I would give them six stars if I could.

I was recommended Shoreline after my girlfriend found them online, Im very happy she did. The care is great, theyve gone over and above on helping my mom get accustomed to her new surroundings. It literally feels like home when you walk in. Thats something you cant put a price on!!

My brothers and I are so very glad we found The Shoreline of Clinton. The facility is clean, the food is good and the staff is wonderful. Mom is difficult to say the least. Everyone has gone above and beyond to help her and the family acclimate the her new home. Staff is friendly and compassionate. Everyone is easy to work with and always accessible for phone calls and updates. Thank you and keep up the wonderful work!!

My mother was here from April of 2018 until her passing in February 2019. My sister and I were pleased with the care she received there. Firstly, the place was very clean (and having worked in nursing homes for many years, I realize how important that is to family members). The staff were attentive and really seemed to care about my mother and the other residents. They had good recreational programs to keep residents engaged. The recreation director, Stephanie, was outstanding in the way she worked with each individual. Nursing staff were also very caring. It was the best place for my mother to spend her last year. And it gives comfort to us that we made the right decision in placing her there.
