This is truly not your average 55+ community, We love this place, and we don't know where we would be if it I wasn't for this place, they truly have the best management and staff, always greeted with a big smile and always willing to help. My wife and moved in about 2 and 1/2 years ago, since then we have truly met some great friends here.

It is great place for the seniors over 55. This place is very clean and maintained. Lafayette library and king soopers is right in front of it. I met one couple living in there and they love it. I recommend this place.

Horribly run complex. If you are promised something get it in writing! Very high rents for what you get. The folks who run this place will lie to your face about everything. Poorly organized place.

The common spaces are attractive- at least the ones available to view so the pub, the (projection) movie theater, a common area, business center with PCs, printers and maybe something else, a smallish gym. By view I mean view- look in through the windows. Theres other amenities unavailable to walk by: pool, dance studio, workshop, community garden, card and game room. Unless theres already a space available its not clear when a prospective resident will be inside a unit. Theyre awfully small and have only 1 bathroom. The balconies are nonsensically small too. Landscaping is uninspired to the point of dullness, with bland shrubbery pruned into balls that destroy any chance theyll thrive. Theres no sign of flower beds or seasonal color. Despite all this its probably a pleasant place to live. People self select for where they want to live and the amenities plus community will be a big draw for many people.

Its the community that makes this place special. Management seems to turn over often, but the residents keep up with social activities, movies, and happy hours. The campus is always clean.

Warning: when you move out Affinity will come up with a bunch of bogus charges and exaggerated cleaning, repair costs to make you forfeit your security deposit! Also, residents were denied the use of many facilities for almost two months due to water damage but were not offered any form of compensation for loss of those facilities, the cost of which are folded into the ever-increasing rent! Staff turnover at Affinity is very high.
