Both of my parents were residents at Princeville By the Sea in Seal Beach (College Park East) — my mom for 2 years and my dad for 3 years. It was so wonderful to have them so close to me, as I live in the same neighborhood. I could visit every day and the other 4 residents became like family. Its great having only 6 residents, compared with having hundreds at a large facility, and this also allows for the caregivers to truly get to know their residents. I highly recommend Princeville to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their parent(s).

During this COVID crisis, we have been grateful that my mom was able to move from a large assisted living community to Princeville by the Sea in Seal Beach. The home is beautiful, warm and family oriented. Mom had Parkinsons dementia and floundered in her larger community because of the quarantine restrictions. At Princeville, she was able to be a part of a very small, family like community. Her individual needs were noticed and tended to. The caregivers are well-qualified and there was stability and consistency in their schedules. This allowed the four caregivers to know my mom well. She was only there in Seal Beach for 3 months (she passed away in August) but it was by far the best place she could be during her time of decline and Parkinsons progression. We were able to visit with masks and distancing on the beautiful garden patio in the back yard. We are very grateful for the owners Lee and Myriam. My moms needs were challenging, but they never waivered in their commitment to her care. I highly recommend Prineville by the Sea for any of you looking for a loving place to care for your loved ones.

Our Mother who suffered from Alzheimer dementia received excellent personalized care at Princeville by the sea in Seal Beach. The clean and bright home environment with the same caregivers and fewer residents than a traditional memory care facility helped decrease her anxiety and paranoia associated with dementia. She enjoyed the home cooked meals and also sitting out on the terrace every morning for sun and to watch the local residents on their daily walks. We were relieved that she was allowed to stay at Princeville as her Alzheimers progressed, and even as she transitioned into hospice care. We are grateful to have found Princeville and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe supervised home environment for their aging parent.

Our family had a wonderful experience when our mother became a resident at Princeville. The caregivers were caring, attentive, and organized. The house was always clean. The meals were healthy and appealing. Our mother loved laughing and chatting with the caregivers and other residents. After her stroke, the caregivers continued to be so helpful and patient. We felt supported and encouraged by the entire staff at all times during the time our mother lived there. I highly recommend Princeville!

Princeville by the Sea was a wonderful place for my mother. She was there for almost four years, until she passed away at the age of 99. The place is always clean and uncluttered. My family and I always felt welcomed whenever we came to visit. I was especially impressed with the meals. They were always well balanced and made with fresh ingredients and very delicious. The staff members were very caring, friendly and attentive. My family and I highly recommend Princeville by the Sea to anyone who has an elderly relative who would benefit from 24/7 care.

I am a POA/Caregiver for a very dear friend who has been a resident at both Princeville locations for over two years. What first impressed me was the cleanliness and efficiency of Princeville by the Sea. Since then, I have discovered that the most important aspect is how the residents are cared for. Princeville affords her the luxury of living with dignity, comfort, and respect. Princeville takes care of her needs by dispensing medications, insuring residents are bathed regularly, providing laundry services, and preparing fresh and healthy meals. They also provide services such as chair yoga, bible study, and the interaction of the staff in providing "fun" activities such as bingo. Most importantly, help is always available for when one needs some extra care. My worry is diminished due to the excellent care she receives.

I am so grateful to the owners and staff of Princeville by the Sea for the excellent care that my mother is receiving. After three months of searching for just the perfect place we visited this facility and fell in love with the place and the people. The atmosphere is so clean and comfortable, "Just Like Home". Her needs are always addressed and she is made comfortable. They provide 24/7 constant care. They provide delicious favorite meals, administer and order medication, do laundry, and keep the residents clean and happy. We as a visitor are treated like family and are welcomed. I can truly say that when my time comes I hope there is a home like this one out there for me. Call and come and make a visit so that you can see this lovely place.

I could not be more grateful for the care my father received at Princeville by the Sea Assisted Living in Seal Beach. It was obvious that the owners, Myriam and Lee, truly care about their residents and go out of their way to establish a relationship with their families. The homey, yet upscale atmosphere of this beautiful residence made my father feel at home and made our family feel comfortable visiting. The staff saw to my father’s every need, from managing medications to preparing favorite foods that he liked. He felt cared for and catered to during his time at Princeville. Saying thank you is not enough. I am forever grateful to Myriam, Lee, and the staff.

The best part about it all is the superlative quality of the care my mother received from the caregivers. They were genuinely concerned about each resident's welfare, both physical and mental. During my many visits, I really got to spend a lot of time with them and I now consider them part of MY family.
