I did a virtual tour and called and talked to Julie about my Mom. This place looks like home, it is a beautiful community and you can tell the people there are loved and cared for. Julie was so kind and personable and took the time answering all my questions and concerns, she went above and beyond I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a safe loving environment for their loved ones!

As the Community Relations Director I so enjoy assisting families with their loved ones. The longevity of our staff is so important to our residents and their memory care needs. The activity program here is geared to each individuals needs and we love meeting them where they are. Our cottage style community is perfect for all lets of care.

The care they provide to my grandmother is superb. They keep her healthy and entertained. She loves it there and that means a lot. The family events they hold once per month are well organized. Great place for our loved one to call home.

Great staff, very caring, extremely helpful. Very proactive during Covid-19 to protect the health and safety of the residents. My father spent the final 3 months of his life being a resident of this community and we just couldnt have asked for a better place. They treat their residents like family, and for that we will never forget.

This is a very special place. The staff makes it that way..The cottages for the residents are home!Each room is anointed with the comforts that make each room delightful. Every resident is treated as a family member that plays together, sings together and enjoys activitiestogether. It was a blessing to find Pacifica. My mom had been to 3 different locations prior, none was a fit to her personality. The reason I felt Pacifica was better was because they have separate cabins (15 persons to a cabin) for different types of personalities, 6 cabins total. The cabins range from mild mannered to aggressive. My mom happened to be on the mild mannered side. The staff in her cabin was outstanding. They treated all the guess that reside there like family. My belief this was due to staff retention. Most assisted living facilities have a high turnover rate. The staff in my moms cabin had approximately 10 or more years of employment at that same facility. When my mom passed away they wept along side of my family.I know family cant be at a care facility 24-7 but I was there at lease 5 days a week at all different times and I never observed any misbehavior period. I would recommend Pacifica to any of my family and yours. In fact I told my wife if I should need to go to a care facility send me to Pacifica or a place just like it.

My Father, Marvin Schmidt, passed away Sept 4, 2018. His last year of life was spent at Pacifica. I can only say that everyone there are literally angels and there is a true sincerity about caring for the residents. In the beginning, I was only expecting at least for this facility to just do their job and be kind; however, their service went above and beyond. It really helped with my Fathers transition to heaven to have a caring and Godly environment. I know we will and my Father will miss you all. You all are like family to us. Thank you.

Above and beyond all expectations! This staff cares so much and are so friendly. You can tell how they all like their jobs as well as support each other. Their #1 priority is the health and mental well being of all the residents. The personal care and attention my mom got as well what I got was far greater than expected. The staff provided excellent communication. All the fun activities were so great. My mom loved the food and the companionship. When my mom was at home she was alone, in bed all the time, and depressed. When she came here, new life was breathed into here. It was like she was becoming her old self again. She was happy, active, eating well, clean, and having fun. When my mom passed, the staff was just as sad as we were to lose her. They developed a personal loving relationship with her. Im so comforted to know that she died here with dignity and love surrounding her. I highly recommend Pacifica in Jarupa.I noticed a 1 star comment about Pacifica not putting their mother in a shared room and charging a single room rate. This did NOT happen to my mother. In fact she started in a single room because they did not have a shared room available, but they only charged the shared room rate. There was NEVER an issue about charging. In fact, I visited several memory care facilities (8 of them) and Pacifica was not only the most reasonable rate, but we thought was the best overall. Please go visit for yourself. The very first time I arrived to Pacifica I immediately felt that this was the place for my mother. It just felt right. Now that my mother is here, I definitely know that i made the right decision. The staff are great and very attentive towards her especially during her adjustment period when she first arrived. I know that she is safe and all of her medical needs are and will be attended to. I can see that she is happy here and thats all that matters to me. Her happiness. I have felt nothing but professionalism from the front office to the cottage managers and their staff. Pacifica Riverside is a FIVE STAR facility.

We have been very happy with the care provided for my mother at Pacifica Senior Living Riverside! When we first moved mom in, they did not have a shared companion room, but allowed her to stay in a private room until hers was ready, for no extra charge. We are so thankful to have found them at a time when she really needed extra care that we could not provide at home. They have great care and staff! I will always recommend them!

Nothing but great things to say about our interactions with Pacifica and Christina! We were having some issues with mom that were not typical Alzheimers issues and Christina was there for us when so many other people that we reached out to were not. She had great advice and compassion every step of the way!

I was asked to come in (1-16-2018) for an interview for the Activity Director position, but once I showed up and was taken to meet with someone named Ashley, she told me that the position was was no longer open and in fact had been filled. She stated that she did not have my phone number to call me before hand, and apologizd.I had never had that happen in all of my career.I did not know how to really feel, or if I should even be upset. All kinds of thoughts were going through my head, was I to old, to fat, or just did not fit the culture. I just did not know how to feel. I do know I did not feel very encouraged.In the near future, please make sure you get potential employees information, ie full name, phone numbers. This way no one will ever show up to an interview and be told Im sorry the position has been filled. Not very professional, and not a good look for your community.Good luck to the new Activity Director, I know you will do a great job.
