The staff at Sunrise see their work as a calling, not just a job. My father was a resident for 5 years (2017-2022), and I was impressed by how they took care to get to know and respect him as a person. In many ways, we became friends. I can wholeheartedly recommend this as a HOME for your loved one.

Sunrise feels like home. From caring and loving staff that feels like family to comfortable rooms and gathering areas to homestyle food and fun activities to suit all levels of need. Sunrise of Alta Loma should definitely be a consideration when looking for housing for a loved one.

We are a Sunrise generational family: my granny was at Sunrise Alta Loma in the late 1990s, my granny in-law was also there in the late 1990s, and both of them loved the TLC, attentiveness by the staff, the fact that Sunrise has "house" pets for the residents to enjoy, and many fun activities that include both Sunrise residents and their families. Naturally, when it was time for my mother in-law to move into a senior neighborhood two years ago, Sunrise Alta Loma was the obvious choice. Although the staff and residents have changed since my granny was there, the high level of attentiveness, TLC and beauty of the facility have not changed. Moreover, the move from the general resident apartment into the memory neighborhood was necessary during the novel covid 19 pandemic. Due to quarantine restrictions, our family could not assist with the pack and move of my mother in-law into the memory neighborhood. The Sunrise staff handled it all and their warm reassurances to her made the transition nearly seamless. Thank you, Sunrise staff for all you've done and continue to do. Keep up the good (and tireless) work!

Im so glad I found Sunrise for my uncle. I couldnt be happier with the staff. They are wonderful! From the Managers to the Nurses to the Care Managers. Very caring and friendly. We had him at another facility originally. They were very High End like a 5 Star Resort but the care wasnt anywhere near as good as Sunrise and it felt Cold. Sunrise feels like Home, like Family. And the Events they have for Family and Friends are so much fun. I highly recommend Sunrise Senior Living for your loved ones. You can rest assured you are leaving them in capable and loving hands.

We had to place our Aunt in an Assisted Living. She had just been diagnosed with a brain tumor and we needed to move her close to our home. I toured different facilities and decided on Sunrise. She was a difficult patient due to the brain tumor and the medications. The staff treated her with kindness and were always patient with her. We were in the facility everyday. We got to know the staff well. We were confident in the care our Aunt received. When she passed away after a year, the caregivers that had been close with her came in on their day off to say goodbye. So when we needed a place for our Uncle we did not hesitate in calling Sunrise. To our surprise and delight many of the same staff were still employed there. Our Uncle has been there 6 months now and we are really happy with his level of care. The staff is responsive and open to any concerns. This time of life can be so difficult for our loved ones. I am grateful for the kind and caring employees that I have gotten to know at this facility. We can go home in peace, knowing our loved ones are cared for.

My Mother-in-law has been here since October with intermittent stays. Everybody here has been very nice, they’re all very helpful, and I think they’re managing her situation pretty well. Her memory has been going downhill and they’ve been working with her the best they can. Her best friend of 30 years lives there as well and that’s part of why we chose the place, so they could be together. Her friend seems to be very happy there. They have a really good variety of food but she’s been having trouble eating. They’ve been able to accommodate her with her inability to eat large amounts of food and they’ll make her smaller amounts that are more manageable. They seem to try hard to make sure she’s comfortable. There are plenty of activities to do like card games, exercise, and bingo. There’s also a knitting group. As far as the rent is concerned, there's a flat fee for the room, but there are extra charges for getting help with showers, medication, and any additional care that she needs.

I have recently taken a tour of this community and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I thought they did a great job with the presentation and had a lot of great amenities to offer the residents. I thought the property was beautiful and very well maintained by all of the staff. It was just not the right location for us in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone.

It was a very nice community and the atmosphere was pleasant. The people were really nice and it seemed well put together on the tour. They didn't do breakfast till 9 am, my dad is an early eater. I thought the people were very nice. It was the best experience for a tour. We found a different community with what they wanted.
