Daily & Monthly Activities
We create great days for our residents. Activity involvement provides residents with fun engagement on a physical and mental level. There is a plethora of activities that residents can participate in daily. Our monthly activity planning meetings also allow residents to express their interests and what they’d like to see when it comes to activities.
Restaurant-Style Dining
Residents partake in three delicious meals each day, prepared by our chef in our restaurant-style dining room. Our fun 50’s Diner provides residents with a bit of nostalgia and tasty treats. In addition, residents can also come to join other fellow residents as they enjoy wine and live entertainment during our weekly Happy Hour. The transition from prior to new owners is very average and is not satisfactory to most residents. We have waited from April to and including today to see the new contract. They are raising prices for different levels of required assistance! Laundry services are not available unless you are a member of the more expensive care levels. I require no added care, but they raised me from indipendent basic rates to the next care level. They said that having my laundry done is and additional service and increase my rent by $ 360 a month! That is more than I would ever pay. That leaves many of us to do our own laundry using 2 washers (one out of order) and 2 dryers for dozens of residents! The only other choice is purchase a laundry service! This is a small problem compared to many more. None of us feel any security or peace of mind of the future costs/raises. I would not recommend this residence to anyone might ask. The food is average, the cooking is very average. Employees especially food servers are not trained, causing many order mistakes and discontent to those who have to eat 3 meals of average food a day. Many other items I do not want to mention, as I do not have the time. I could fill many pages and still have more to write. It is too bad that the buildings and lawns suffice, but there are a fair number of management and employees should be re trained or fired. If this is the tip of the mountain of problem.then I would recommend you talk to residences living there. You be the judge, but if you are a bill payer for a resident, you might not hear of the problems the resident faces daily This is the opposite of the picture drawn by the public relations personel! Yes I had my reservations because this is a very serious decision to make about a loved one. Our mom means the world to us . 7 April, 2022 update: Now that my mom has been here for six months, I would like to share more about this community. I am so pleased that she is here. The staff are all really kind and caring and very communicative. They all make me feel as if they love my mom as much as I do. I am so grateful to all of them ! My mom just moved into Renaissance Village and it has been a good experience. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Her move into assisted living was unexpected for her (and for me). Saidah Story made the entire process as comfortable as possible. She has great energy and is very patient. We visited four other assisted living locations. Renaissance Village was the loveliest setting and the best maintained, but Saidah's presence there made me feel like it was definitely the right choice.

And take great care of my mom. She is definitely a handful. But they do well to juggle her was all of their other clients. Food is amazing chefs work hard to make nice meals. All the staff is friendly. Plenty of activities to keep residence occupied

Im new, but made to feel like I have been here longer. The complete staff knows my name and they are very friendly. All my needs are met and the food is amazing. The accommodations are small but plenty large for one individual. This place really makes you feel welcome.

My mom was under hospice care, but it was becoming to difficult to give her the care she needed at home. So I call Renaissance Village seeking to place my mother there. Ruthie Daniel was fantastic. She worked diligently with me to get the paperwork filled out and the tests done that we need to get my mom into the Village.But evidently my mom did not want to go into the facility. She wanted to pass in her own home. Two hours before we set to move my mom toRenaissance Village, she passed. Sad, but my mom is now in a better place.Ruthie Daniel and all the staff at Renaissance Village were wonderful. They made a difficult time for me and my family much easier. Even though my mom did not end up at the Village, I cannot say enough about the kindness and knowledge of Ruthie and the staff.

Great food, great people, my parents are well cared for by knowledgeable and friendly staff.Shannon (the facility Director) is always on facility and helps family members to insure the residence safety, happiness, care, and a well run facility. The facility is definitely high end with all the amenities one could ask for.There are always activities, outings, and entertainment to interest and keep the residence and their families involved.
