I’m a resident at CoGir. What I like is that the staff is friendly. The residents are very good people from different walks of life. My favorite is the movie theatre. I enjoy playing card games and dice and I like how they set up a table for me to do my paintings. I enjoy when the staff bring their dogs so we can play with them and enjoy their company. I’ve been here a year and I have noticed a change in the environment, for the better.

Cogir has been such a wonderful facility to work with. Their staff specialize in senior care. They stay in great contact with the primary physician to make sure all orders and needs are met. The community is lead by great leadership that demonstrate inclusion and diversity. There is such a wonderful culture of support and acceptance. For example, There are some residents who do not have family in the area. The staff make sure the residents are well stocked with supplies and do personal errand runs for them. The staff truly is an extension of family for residents.

As a professional I have worked with this location in placing clients here recently and they have had a new change in ownership and management and have provided an excellent experience for my client and family. I am very pleased with the community and look forward to referring future clients here as well.

Really cares more about looks rather then true care for the resident and treating caregivers badly. Even visiting loved ones residents were left by themselves and getting into things they shouldn’t have. Even watched one resident fall and no caregiver was around and other residents started to get anxious and panic trying to get help. Just so many things have happened that could’ve been stopped

Not only is Estancia one of the newest assisted living communities in North County, San Diego, it is BEAUTIFUL as well! The leadership team and the care staff have 20+ years of experience in the senior industry and, most importantly, they have caring hearts! I'd feel confident having one of my loved ones to call Estancia their home.

Estancia is a wonderful senior community, that meets all of my mothers needs. Making the decision to move my mother to a community is very hard but the sales woman Brandie made it very easy and made my whole family feel that my mom will be taken care of.
