I've known several people who have gone to live at the Florentine since it opened. I've heard nothing but good things about this establishment. I've been there many times to visit and found the staff to be friendly, attentive, and the building immaculate. It's got just about everything I would want or need, except a swimming pool, but that's alright, the city has a nice pool 1 klic away.

There is a reason IH needed to be involved. What they did to the resident and family during evacuations was horrific.

The Florentine has lots to offer such as spacious units with lots of amenities such as movie theatre, gym, library, craft room, piano room, 3rd floor game room, tv room, hair dressing shop, gift shop, woodwork shop, activities and much more.

Great place for a good price, 3rd floor has a kitchen with coffee and tea. The suites are fairly bare but it's good if you're coming for a visit and want a bed and what not!

Beautiful Independent/Assisted living facility nestled in the hillside of Merritt. Close to amenities like shopping and the Nicola Valley Hospital. Lot’s of fresh air in-between the rows of lilacs and extensive garden area. Very spacious interior with a caring and talented staff who always go the extra mile(or kilometre). I can highly recommend The Florentine as the place to thrive in yours or your loved ones golden years.

When it became evident that my Mom required the safety and care provided by a senior home, I began my search. When I met Tammy, the executive director at The Florentine, I was impressed by her passion for seniors happiness and quality care. After a lengthy tour of the home, I left feeling so much more at ease and confident that Mom would be getting the best of care. Mom is now a resident of The Florentine and is thriving. With my many visits there, I am always delighted with the smiling faces from residents and all the staff. What a fortunate find for us.

Went and had a tour with my Mom last week. I think the place is great. Looks like there will never be a dull moment. The staff all seem happy and friendly and the place is bright and homey. My parents move in at the end of July. I am happy they will be well cared for, safe and have a busy social life:)

Ive worked at the Florentine for more than 4 years as a care aide. Its a wonderful place to work. We have a wonderful boss and the owner is excellent , They are very caring about the residents and the staff. I would like to thank the Florentine for giving me the opportunity to help the residents in a caring fulfilling way. I love my job because its a family atmosphere.

Gorgeous building and even better views of the Nicola Valley. Great employer who cares for the team and for the residents. One of the best places i have worked in my 22 years of cooking. I invite anyone to come join the team and help us grow. we have RCA, LPN, cooks, cleaning staff. Every member of the team helps enrich the lives of the people who live in our building. Superb, lots of room to roam around; various rooms for entertainment or activities. Of-course, guest rooms for family too. I love the cinema .The building is nice and clean. Dinning area is cosy. Beautiful view of the highway.
