We had a few agency's out to our home and I wasn't crazy about them how they took care of a patient.Then we met Alex. We got a call from a scheduler who had Christina come to our home.She is one great person when it comes to the patient and family as she's so very experienced she's very professional and she knows her stuff. She is so down to Earth, happy, and caring. We just love her and her caring ways.This agency found a Jem in hiring a great worker as we appreciate her so much. Thank You Christina!

I’ve been working for a place at home since January! I love the flexibility the company has. The clients are absolutely amazing and understanding. I would definitely recommend this company for any VA members. The company mainly focuses on ex-military soldiers for providing care. 10/10 would recommend our care to anyone!

I suppose all things happen in God s good timing. First I will say, do not trust any bad review, as a manager I can tell you, you cant control every employee but when management or owner step in that is where you judge. I contacted A Place at home about private hours after reading many reviews on the care.com site. I was overwhelmed looking for my own private caregiving not knowing what I was doing. My first phone call was with the owner (but I did not know at the time), he was very helpful and informative and actually gave me information on the Phoenix VA programs available to my dad. This blew me away, no hard sale, no push to sign just real information and told me to follow up if I had questions or needed help. I contacted the VA for home care and requested A Place at home specifically, when I had questions about the VA process and was again lost I called the office and spoke with the owners wife. they are both a wealth of knowledge and she was so kind to share her own personal experience with me which set my fears aside. I have met a few caregivers with this company all have been wonderful but we loved 1 woman and when I called the office and spoke with scheduling they were able to help coordinate schedule changes to have her all the time. I have been a manager for many years and was very impressed that everyone in the office I speak with has a very personal reason for being in senior care, they really do care because they have been in my shoes. Last week I came into the office unannounced because I received a medical form and did not know what to do. They were so warm and gracious and sat with me. 5 months ago I felt very alone trying to care for my dad and working full time and overtime to help with the cost of care. Now I can enjoy my time with him and learning the VA hospital to help him too.

Alex and his team at A Place at Home are the absolute best! Weve had a hard time getting a set schedule together for my Mother-in-Law and Alex has been so responsive and accommodating! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs help with a loved one who cant manage on their own or just needs some extra help - they do it all!
