The staff was always so helpful and kind in caring for our mother, Mary Chestnut. They were considerate of our feelings and communicated what was needed and addressed those needs. We really appreciated the weekly summaries to be able to see the care she was given. We can't thank them enough for all they did for her. We would recommend Via Elegante to anyone for assisted living care. They went above and beyond to show their care for our mother.

My mom has been well cared for. I have nothing but good to say about this home my mom lives in. The staff go above and beyond to care for her. The staff listens to us as a family. Assuring our wishes are fallowed through with. During the recent wild fire they were well prepared for evacuation. Planned evacuation program already set. They moved quickly to pack my mom a few items. In the need she would need to be temporarily or permanently relocated. They kept our mom calm and relaxed with their professionalism. Mom said everyone was calm during the wild fires. I highly recommend Via Elegante on Ramsey Rd. Hereford Arizona.

It started with a tour of the facility for my Mama. Right from the start, Via Elegante was clean, felt like a real home(not a care center), and our guide addressed residents by their names. Mama stayed at Via Elegante for 3 1/2yrs before her passing in 2022 from Alzheimer's disease. The staff there are amazing, making sure all residents needs are met, friendly staff members to everyone that walks through the door. I was pretty amazed on how the staff treated my Mama. "No hospital" smell. They have activities there for the residents, like Bingo, singing, crafts, etc. We became a part of there "family" and felt the love they have for the residents and families. I highly recommend Via Elegante as the place to have your loved one live in their time of need and through the rest of there lives

The staff at Via Elegante has been wonderful to me and my family. They are very understanding of the difficulties surrounding the placement of family member into assisted living and helped us out each step of the way. They are very friendly and adopt the families in their care. My parents are treated with respect, kindness, and a very loving touch. The staff is quick to listen and talk about any concerns that you can have. They are very informative and always speak with a caring manner. This is a job that I admit I could never do with their level of love and they do it with apparent ease. They have helped me and my family relax and face the challenges ahead of us with a smile. I really couldn't say enough to thank them for all they do.

I want to personally express our families gratitude for everything Via Elegante management, and its caregivers gave our mother Roberta Kalk. For the past 3 years Via Elegante provided her the best care we could ask for. At the end the care and love that was shown to her and our family was so touching. Mom was treated with so much dignity and love during her stay. So much is provided excellent food, and a large selection of activities. Brenda the activities Director is one of the nicest people we have ever met. The variety of activities is amazing, something for everyone. I personally feel if you are looking for a place for your loved one, this is the place. We had our Mom (MIL) at Via Elegante when her condition became too much for us to handle safely. From the very beginning we felt very comfortable with her being there. There was always someone around to keep an eye on her and keep her engaged. Not only was she in good hands but the peace of mind we had knowing she was being treated like family by the staff made her stay very special. We highly recommend their facility for your loved one.

Everyone seemed to genuinely care about him - and us. The caregivers began to feel like our family as much as we may have felt like theirs. My mother was a resident of Via Elegante for almost two years. The staff was kind and compassionate and treated her with fondness and respect and the facility was always clean and safe. They truly went out of their way to make my mother comfortable and feel at home. They were very good about contacting me and keeping me informed about her care. My mother's favorite thing was to go out into the large, fenced courtyard and enjoy the sun.

My father-in-law has been a resident here since July 2017 and we are so incredibly pleased with every aspect of Via Elegante. From the minute we walked in the front door to take a tour, we felt comfortable with placing my FIL here as everyone is so friendly, it's very homey feeling, and always clean. The directors and caregivers are absolutely top-notch. They have always made me feel welcome as I'm a frequent visitor and they always take the time to address any questions or concerns I have. Placing a loved one in an assisted living facility can be a very difficult decision to have to make but we are so glad to have found Via Elegante.

My 90-year-old father declined past what his retirement home could manage, even with outside hired caregivers coming in multiple times a day, so I moved him in and out of two assisted living facilities before settling him at Via Elegante. I was very impressed with the facility itself, a beautifully elegant, clean and spacious southwestern style building with three wings, all giving to a clubhouse social center with comfy chairs clustered around the fireplace and a piano, and all opening to a lovely courtyard with spectacular mountains as a backdrop. The sleeping rooms in each wing open into a common area where the two caregivers (one per 7 or 8 residents) cook breakfasts to order and work right in the center of the "home." From this open station, they can oversee everyone's comings and goings and be immediately accessible. My father shared a large room with a friendly veteran like himself and the arrangement worked very well. Though it was a sad move for him to leave his former friends, the level of care at Via Elegante was superb! I especially appreciated that one fixed monthly price covers all levels of escalating care as the residents naturally decline in their twilight years. All of the members of the caregiving and administrative staff were friendly, cheerful, helpful, considerate, respectful, thorough, and professional. The caregivers chart daily on each resident, recording their activities, mental and emotional state, nighttime events, and even how much of their meals they ate! Then the family receives a weekly email of these daily records to keep abreast of how their loved one is doing. Periodically the registered nurse adjusts the health plan she has created for each resident, considering input from caregivers and family alike. The activities are fun, and the director very bubbly and entertaining. Because a few people of normal cognitive abilities mingle freely with the majority in varying stages of dementia, the social interaction ranges from voluntary isolation to chatty friendships. A senior with an active and social mind might become discouraged and restless at the level of many of the those much less so, but the mixing with others of normal cognitive abilities seems beneficial to those in advancing dementia. During my father's final 10 day decline, the staff graciously allowed me to live in an empty room so that I could be immediately at his side. To me, this was support going above and beyond, and I will always be grateful. I would highly recommend Via Elegante in Sierra Vista to anyone whose senior needs 24/7 care in a clean, lovely, secured facility with kind, respectful, supportive, professionally skillful staff.
