My husband and I moved into Glencroft 2 years ago...we love it!! So much to do right here on campus. We have a beautiful 2 bedroom apt. It is a Christian community and very clean... Always something going on if you feel like joining us.

Get some signage for the various locations in the facility. Not having appropriate signs delays patient care. Its getting too hot outside to play around with geriatrics being transferred to the incorrect portion of the campus .

What is going on with Glencroft? First Jose left then Amanda, now the water is contaminated?? They are serving the residents on paper plates and plastic knives and forks and giving them bottle water to drink. What is going on, are they bathing the residents? How can they possibly be taking proper care of someone with contaminated water.

I have personally known the director of nurses for greater than three years and feel very confident that they have the perfect person for the position in place. this facility is very well maintained with staffing ratios that are significantly less than those of the other facilities in the area. the staff is well trained and professional. I would highly recommend this campus as a long term solution to the problems associated with ageing be it through the independent living all the way up to skilled and long term care. this campus has it all. multiple on site restaurants serving up high quality food, a senior center and thrift shop as well as activities in each of the assisted living buildings as well. this is a great place to live out your retirement with comfort and peace of mind that you have made the best decision possible. well done Glencroft your awesome.

My Mom and I had a great time when I visited with her last week! There was a Costume Contest for Halloween, with entertainment!, we took the bus to Wal-Mart for a shopping spree one afternoon, got her a haircut at the Salon ( Shear Wonders..on the premises) and sat outside ( the weather was wonderful) after dinners and talked with her many friends. Everyone, staff and residents were very friendly and helpful. And when it was discovered that she'd missplaced her life alert botton , we were able to get a replacement very quickly. My Mom loves where she's living, and that makes me happy too! Thanks to all at The Oaks for taking such good care of Madeline.

I just want to say Thank You Glencroft. My dad has been in 3 other skilled nursing facilities and this by far had and is very good. There is no perfect place but for the most part they were good. Now my dad was on the first floor for medications and PT-OT. So I cant comment on the Skilled Nursing Long Term care area. But for short term I highly recommend them. They were prompt in answering the call buttons. My dads briefs were changed and his skin kept clean. The PT-OT were patient with my dad. And so was the whole entire staff. The food there and at Henrys Cafe far out did all the other skilled nursing facilities. However if your loved one needs intensive PT-OT I wouldnt recommend this place only because they are limited with equipment but being my dad is 80 years old it was just right for him. THANK you all. GOD Bless. Edit10-2 however had to change to 3 stars because of my dads stroke and outburst they would not allow him back into the facility. I would think they are used to dealing with 80 year old people who have suffered more than one stroke but it is what it is, I suppose.

I worked here in collage,and they were very nice. They really seem to care about the residents. They have planned outings, the food is good in the dinning room, clean pools, emergency pendants for the residents, nursing home on property, handicapped accessible apartments and we'll manicured landscaping. Major hospital is approximately 5 miles away. My neighbor recently moved here into a new apartment and she loves it!

It is sad when someone you used to work with who expressed how lucky she was to be not just part of the staff but part of a big family says something derogatory about this facility. It is not a secret that we have moved some residents from the Assisted Living Facility to Memory Care Facility who were appropriate for Memory Care. We too have declined reservations for Memory Care when we felt residents were not appropriate for MC, like our elderly folks who still should be enjoying the freedom in similar places like ALF or AFH, but not Memory Care. Why? Because everything that we do is resident centered. We know that every resident is different, and every resident has, in fact, different needs at times there may not even be a care need, a resident may live here just because they want to belong to a community where they are reassured that staff who provide services are genuine and enjoy what they do for them. However, when something unexpected happens with a residents health and care changes, we have to re-evaluate and be certain that we are able to continue to provide services that will keep our residents safe because its the responsible thing to do and because we do care. We have sadly said our good-bye to some residents that we dearly love due to a care that we know can be better provided when they are in a smaller community or SNF. Some residents/family may understand it and some may not. The person who has the most difficult job in this facility is actually the person who is tasked to have a conversation with the family that they need to move. Have you ever told a person you truly care about that theres a place that is better suited for him/her and you have to smile to re-assure that person that its whats best for them for now? It is the most difficult and heartbreaking conversation! In the end, its not all about what is important for the facility, as for sure losing them would be losing money, too. It is a change that has to happen because their safety and well-being is important to us and must come first.

My husband and I have lived here for over a year. We have enjoyed living here. The employees are wonderful to us. You can be as active as you want. I volunteer 12 hrs a week. The first day I visited here I felt peace and it hasn't changed. Everyone you meet smiles. I would recommend it to everyone.

I have lived here for three years and have NO COMPLAINTS. It is an easy place to make friends and it has good Friday night programs (many of which are given by talented musicians). It has a well-run dining room and a smaller place like the old diners where you can sit at a counter and order a hamburger or a chocolate sundae.
