I only recently had to put my mom in memory care, and I was so worried about the care she would get, but that was quickly dispelled once I got her into The Oaks. The staff is amazing as they are communicative and very caring which I witness every time I visit. I love that they are caring and compassionate, but at the same time firm in that they don't just let my mom sit in her room. If my mom doesn't think she wants to go do an activity, they kindly just take her, which is great because she needs to be involved and not just left alone in her room. The staff has communicated with me extremely well (via emails and phone calls and face to face when I visit) and I just know that they have her best interests at heart. I can sleep ant night knowing she is in great hands. They even set up mobile doctors to visit her regularly which is just amazing. Also, they have excellent food. My mom hates "institutional" food, but here she tells me how good it is there. She is a picky eater, but cleans her plate! I am very pleased and thankful for The Oaks!

My wife and I came in for a Tour last week with Nick. I am looking for my grandparents and need a place where they can age in place. Nick did a great job explaining all the benefits and amenities that The Oaks had to offer. He allowed us to have a meal in their private dining room and we got to meet the Chef!! Everyone was very nice and the staff introduced themselves as we toured. I felt at home and know that my grandparents will be very happy moving to The Oaks. The plan is to have them move in September-October of this year. Well done Nick, Chef and the entire Oaks staff. Joe H.

It is a hard time for all of us. For the residents that live here, the families that are unable to see their loved ones during this uncertain time. As a family member of a team member that works at The Oaks, I cant help but be filled with pride knowing that my daughter works for and with a company that supports the well-being for the residents that call this community home. I worry less knowing that the team members are being supported from the leadership team. Thank you for making it easier for me and my family to worry less about our loved one while she takes care of your loved ones.

I love working here at the Oaks. I have been here two years and I work in the memory care unit. I love all my residents and enjoy working with all the families. The staff here are very friendly. I hope to stay here at the Oaks and further my career.

I had planned to move my mother to The Oaks, and although it wasnt able to happen because of the amount of care she needed, I wanted to say what a fantastic group of people they have working here!!! They went above and beyond to try and make things happen for her and when her care level was determined to be to high, they still helped me, giving me contacts of those who could help me, and information I would have other wise not known!! Because the place she was currently in were offering NO HELP what so ever!! Their RN Connie was so helpful in helping me learn more of what was going on with my Mother, then the RN that was treating her at the facility she is in. The group here truly cares about those they are caring for and their family members. Thanks for all of your assistance and helping me, it is greatly appreciated!!!

The staff at The Oaks were amazing with my father. They treated him with respect and honor. Even when he was hard to take care of in his final two weeks, the dignity they showed him was outstanding. Sure its a business, but the people there really care.

With the permission of my family I feel to post this review. We had a family member living at The Oaks. First in the Al side then moved to memory care. Most of the staff we all felt a strong connection to are gone. Now leaving behind a very weak team. Meds were being given wrong this was causing great stress. The nurse in memory always making excuses but when the new lady that took over the activities in memory care that was the deciding factor our family needed. We took it to the GM but never went anywhere, you could just see there are favorites and the residents are not No. 1. Which is unheard of since all our money keeps the place going. Our loved one was so involved in all activities before this Suzy came on. Now there is just sadness!!! So much money and for what? It has been months now that we removed our loved one and slowly our family is seeing a comeback. We feel so much damage was allowed to take place from the falls wrong medication and ZERO activity. As nice as The Oaks looks behind the scene is what matters.

Attentive caring staff. The facility is extremely clean. Residents rooms are a nice size in addition to expansive areas for socializing and activities. The dining areas are pleasantly appointed fitting in with fresh, hearty proportioned meal selections. The price point at The Oaks is very attractive. Their intake staff was helpful as they gave us guidance moving a family member across the country.

Beautiful Facility, from the moment you walk in you can feel the warmth of the staff. I have visited friends here numerous times and many of residents are mingling in the common areas and always will stop to chat! I love the open floor plan and the pretty patio out back 🙂

This is a new facility that opened south of Mercy Hospital. Very nice appointments. Nice layout. Excellent dining room. Includes a secure memory care unit.

My 95-year-old Dad is probably the happiest resident living at The Oaks. He said the only think wrong with it is that the food is so good he's gained ten pounds.
