Aurora Place has been home for our Mom for almost 2 years. Our family has appreciated the care and concern for Mom. The community is clean and inviting the moment you walk in the door. We have been greeted and felt welcomed to be there when we visit. We have been thankful that the community has been so careful in protecting the residents from COVID. We want to thank Chelsea and the staff of caregivers for all they have done for Mom.

This would be my choice if ever necessary. I've seen other assisted living places...no comparison. pros: Beautiful, smaller facility. Rooms are A+. Clean, tasteful decor...lovely grounds. Wide homey hallways & lots of open doors. Common areas indoors and out bring residents out of rooms to socialize. Always lots of smiles on residents and staff. Dining room warm and welcoming with personalized menus.Cooks can cook. Guests are fine. Activity leader friendly and genuine. Receptionist awesome. Caregivers a great bunch. cons: understaffed quite often... or badly scheduled? Also- Residents with severe memory issues are at times wandering or in a crisis (not physical) They don't have an area or section or extra staff...with the extra attention they need possibly ?? (sounds worse than is but still a concern)

Such a beautiful community. You can really tell that ,Janae the Director , really cares for her residents and staff. Every time I visit she is there with a smile on her face.

Tailor your room(s) to your liking. Staff are warm, caring, and becoming family. I love the central courtyard for a few serene outdoor moments each time I visit my Dad.
