A Place For Mom
Words can't express the Gratitude we feel for having found Castlewood Care Home. This is the most difficult of times. My mom and dad have been together, literally inseparable ever since they met 55 years ago. I don't remember a time when they were not holding hands. I went to visit this care home and found an environment unlike any other I had visited. This care home feels like FAMILY, like a home..not a facility. We have been encouraged every step of the way to visit, ask questions and have found their approach very collaborative, caring and warm. We have visited my mom daily, at different times of the day. Without exception, we have found my mom to be well-cared-for and kindly and warmly treated with complete respect. This staff to resident ratio is exceptional. The food has been wonderful With variety and nutritional needs clearly and creatively met. Each time I have arrived, unannounced, the residents have been engaged in activities appropriate to their needs. I am Stunned by the other reviews as our experience has been completely different. Families of the other residents that we have met, completely agree that this is an amazing home away from home for my mom with Alzheimers.

It was a. Very good place,all found, it has what at Dad needs, good meals and comfortable, safe, and caring environment. But there is only 1 single room, which is small but available! It is at $6000,very expensive! So, I need to talk more to Dad, and show him it;but he was sort of open to it!
