Really disappointed at Origin's treatment of some of its residents. I know of residents who have been essentially kicked out and living out of a hospital as a result of Origin being unable to care for them and not taking them back. Don't send your loved ones here. They will have much better treatment at a public facility, where they can better transfer residents to different levels of care without having to live out of a hospital for several months.

My father moved to Origin at Spring Creek 13 months ago from Ontario at the age of 95 after my mother passed away to be closer to myself, his daughter. We couldnt have had a better experience....from a trial week before his move, to his arrival as a resident. The staff are outstanding in every way...from the chef to servers to activity and front desk. They have all got to know my dad as they do every resident. Their care and concern for their wellbeing is genuine. Dad loves the food...cant beat the served breakfasts! There are many activities to choose from. Because Origin is located near downtown it is easy to walk to Main Street if the residents are able. This is an outstanding place...I am very grateful it is here in Canmore.

Knowing that my dad is surrounded by a truly compassionate staff gives my family daily peace of mind. After the passing of my mom, he moved across the country to be closer to us. This major life transition was made so much easier thanks to Origins and all that they offer.
