I have known Chuck for several years now as a professional through the Seniors Resource Council of Alberta. Not only is he personable and client friendly, but his knowledge and passion in his business is top notch! He will work extremely hard to make sure your needs in home care are managed properly. The goal of home care is creating an environment where you are able to live safely and independently at home for as long as possible and Chuck as his team are the best. I researched home care companies, and finally I spoke with Olivia and Shawntel at Home Care Assistance. I thought I had time to look into help for my parents but my father took a turn for the worst and my mom needed help right away. Shawntel went to my parents home the same day I called for a consultation, and they offered to zoom me in, which I was very thankful for! Olivia and WIlma were able to schedule care right away. Our services have been wonderful up to this point. I cannot thank the Home Care Assistance team enough for their help and the exceptional care they have been providing my parents. My mom is so thankful to be able to get a break, and my dad loves the caregivers assigned to him - very engaging and helpful with his exercise program. Many thanks to all of the team! Trusting someone to care for your loved one in the same way that a daughter would, is a very scary and overwhelming thing, but the amazing and caring staff came through for our family beautifully!! Home Care Assistance Calgary was a life saver! My Mom got shingles, unexpectedly of course. She lives on her own and all of her children live in different cities and countries making it extremely difficult to provide in-person care, especially during COVID-19. HCAC to the rescue! They were incredibly responsive, caring, and professional. While my Moms friend helped her initially getting to the ER, we couldnt have given her the care she so desperately needed to recover from this very painful condition, without their help. I would very much recommend you consider HCAC if you have someone needing in-home care.

I highly recommend this home care service. I called for my mother and she has received great service, friendly people. When I called they acted quickly and match a person to my mother, she adores the person looking after her, Care plan was put in place right away. Comforting knowing the the case manager Shawntel is a nurse and listens to the needs of her clients.

My family and I had the pleasure of using Home Care Assistance for my aunt while she was living in Calgary. We had called and quickly had a consultation with the nurse set up for the very next day. Within 3 days from our first call we had services set up and consistent caregivers coming into her home. We have used other companies in the past and this was the best agency we have had. After being in contact with several home care companies, I reached out to Home Care Assistance and am so glad that I did. I was looking for care options for a family member residing in Calgary. Home Care Assistance was patient in answering all of my questions and provided me with thorough answers. I consulted with Ian Busby regarding options for home care and was extremely impressed with his professionalism and Home Care Assistances services in Calgary. Ian took the time to explain the available services and how to create a customized plan within our budget. But more importantly, he went above and beyond to educate me on government funding options to assist with home care costs that I was completely unaware of! As an individual who has previously worked as a customer service representative in the home care industry in Ontario, I was completely shocked and very thankful to have met a representative who was so knowledgeable and passionate about ensuring clients receive the best care possible while also taking the extra step to lessen the financial burden on the entire family. I had to have home care services for a family member three weeks ago on short notice so I contacted Home Care Services on Wednesday afternoon and asked Chuck if he could have someone for me tomorrow (Thursday). I did not think it would be possible but he had someone come in to assess the situation within an hour of my call and he was able to fill the role in less than 36 hours. Chuck and his staff were able to provide services at 5:30 AM Friday morning on such short notice to someone who has major mobility issues and needed help in getting ready every morning for the next 3 weeks. The staff he had come in were reliable dependable very friendly and helped make the morning extremely easy and created a comfortable and relaxed environment that allowed for the job to be easy, and less stressful. The staff were flexible, willing and able to provide services needed. They were well trained, either being nursing students or having worked in the health care field. They dealt with the family member with care, kindness and were extremely polite and were wonderful. They were willing to cook breakfast, help with helping with exercises, and get them ready with ease and get them off to work without panic and stress. I highly recommend Chuck and Home Care to any of you who has a loved one they need to help or take care of and need that little bit of extra support or respite that makes life easier for you. Chuck was extremely accommodating, understanding, supportive and wonderful to deal with and I would not hesitate to use him and his Home Care services again. He and his staff were amazing, trained, and great with the individual and they were extremely comfortable and confident with the staff who came out to help. Thank you Chuck. It made my life so much easier for the 2.5 weeks that I was gone. JT

My 94 year mothers health have been declining recently. So we seek help from Home Care Assistance Calgary on a friends recommendation. They sent a caregiver to look after my mom between 10 pm and 6 am. Their services far exceed my expectations. The care givers are professional, caring, attentive to details, and stayed up all night (as my mom would wake up 3-6 times a night to pee). Each morning they provide a detailed report on the events that happened during the night. From reading the reports, I gained an in depth knowledge of my mothers situations. Our family greatly appreciate their services as we cannot look after my mother as good as they have been. If anyone has difficulties looking after their aging parents, I highly recommend they seek help from Home Care Assistance. My mother speaks Cantonese only, so we were worried about the language barrier. However, after a couple of days, we learn that care givers from Home Care Assistance work so well that language is no issues at all. My mom feel very comfortable with the care givers.
