My Mom has been living at Evanston Summit for a year now, and has really come to appreciate the feeling of community and caring. She enjoys the variety of activities and bus trips, and knows that when she feels like being social, she will always find someone to chat with or play cards in the common areas. She also enjoys the food, and appreciates the work of the housekeeping staff in keeping everything looking so nice, both in her own suite and the building and outdoor areas. She enjoyed getting involved with some light maintenance of the flowers during the growing season, as she had always had her own garden. I would recommend to anyone looking at options for your loved one, to check out Evanston Summit.

In mid April our mother/mother in law,Mary, lost her husband of 72 years.Since she was no longer able to live in the home they had shared for so many years our family went about the task of finding a seniors complex that would fit her needs.As a family we researched and visited a wide spectrum of the facilities with a variety of environments and programs that would meet her needs. Every person has different needs starting with the present: we were cognizant of the fact that her needs may evolveEvanston is an independent seniors residence. We were very impressed. We continued to research and visit a variety of facilities.We narrowed it down and then took mom to visit.In our minds, Evanston was the place we decided on.It stood out clearly as a welcoming and vibrant community. We could see that they would be very open to help mom adjust.Residents and staff went out of their way to welcome and help her.We would like to comment on two people with specific roles. Facility manager Sandy, worked daily with us to help settle mom.She was excellent We are sorry that she is no longer there.CHARLES MUST BE MENTIONED.He has been incredible Flexible, caring, compassionate and personable he worked with us and mom on her transition.For the weeks leading up to Mary’s decision and eventual move into Evanston, Charles made himself available at all times to handle our calls and to address our questions to make this move a reality.He,as well as the rest of the staff, kept a watch out to help mom. And they still do.We know that mom made the right decision to move to Evanston.We, as a family, want to thank all the staff. They watched out for mom and were so willing to help her.Sandy worked with us as the manager CHARLES worked with us on a nearly daily basis. We moved her in gradually and he was there for her and us pretty much all the way.Thank you from our family.

I moved unto EvansPark Manor about six weeks ago and just want to express my appreciation for the kindness and helpfulness of everyone. My parents lived here for a couple of years, and then my mother for 3 years after my dad passed away. Wonderful caring staff, a clean unit that was more spacious than I would have expected, with laundry in the unit. The only reason my mom isn't still living there is because her health requires more assistance.

We moved our mother in law and have nothing but excellent service from the entire staff. They have been very helpful and in so many ways and recommend them to anyone considering a move.

My Dad moved to Evanston Summit in August of 2020, in the middle of a pandemic. I would like to thank the management and staff for keeping my Dad safe during the ever changing situations that evolved. The staff at Evanston are so very caring, pleasant and helpful, I am so happy Dad is part of their family! Dad has celebrated his 100th and 101st Birthdays at Evanston and really enjoys the staff and residents who he interacts with daily! They have an amazing concierge (Victoria) who is so very pleasant, helpful and genuinely cares for each resident. I totally recommend Evanston Summit for anyone looking for a retirement home!
